These unbeaten runs are amazing. We seem to keep going on them but never really seem to get many points or get anywhere in the league. I wonder why this is

One thing you could always rely on in Brum back in the day was a routine bricking of coaches. Then in the Prem days they regularly showed they'd stepped up a bit by showering the away corner constantly with coins whilst plod/stewards stood the looking gormless then whizzed out any away fan who showed his displeasure. One of the biggest shoiteholes on the football map.

O'Sullivan gets his start

Rudy on the bench, Brown starts

Rovers team:- Eastwood, Marshall, Spurr, Kilgallon ©, Olsson, O'Sullivan, Spearing, Evans, Conway, Brown, Rhodes.

Subs: Steele (GK), Henley, Cairney, Williamson, P Taylor, Lenihan, Gestede.

Really pleased that O'Sullivan starts.

Not sure why Marshall is randomly at right back when Henley is on the bench.

Maybe Henley is carrying an injury.

Pleased to see Cairney dropped. His performance recently hasn't been good enough.

Then he shouldn't be on the bench.

Cairney and Marshall have both warranted being dropped in honesty Cairney has been poor all season.

With Marshall and Olsson at full back it does give us the option to switch to wing backs if need be.

Surprised Lenihan doesn't start after not featuring yesterday but imagine he will get half an hour

Brown will inevitably bundle one in at some point, and we'll never hear the end of it from Bowyer. Get Rudy playing.

Glad O'Sullivan is playing but it should have been instead of Marshall who's been poor/uninterested for a long time, rather than at the expense of Henley who's done really well lately and needs as much game time as possible to keep developing.

I too haven't rated Cairney at all this season, but that being said he isn't really being helped out by the lack of pace and runners out wide and up top. Also, 90% of the time he's on the ball he's too deep to do anything incisive with it due to the opposition squeezing us up. Again due to a lack of PACE.

Let's hope O'Sullivan adds some of that tonight; good to see him start. Odd that Henley has been benched. He's young and on form - why drop him?

Well Brown is due one

Glad to see O'Sullivan start. Hope he does well, lord knows we need some good players coming through the youth system.

Hopefully Lenihan will get on at some point.

Agree with other's though bizarre starting with Marshall at right back when Henley has been playing well.

Agree.

Surprised Paul Taylor isn't playing.

Impressed some at Leeds, not been seen since.

Isn't he a cokehead loan player that we didn't need, shouldn't have signed and was keeping kids out of the team? Or did I mistake the derision of his signing for warm appreciation?

The very same. :P However, now that weve got him here and especially after the intial praise he got...

Why not play him?

You seem to have a bee in your bonnet of late.
