Oh bloody hell, is he? I don't think it was anything personal, I don't imagine that most wingers took kindly to advice from keepers!

I think a lot of failed footballers like to blame others for their lack of progression. More often than not they just aren't good enough to cut it. I can think of many top players who came through Jim's coaching, your friend wants to go boil his head.

Well, as you didn't make it and you're better than Chris Taylor it seems that you've already boiled yours.

Jim furnell's son is a regular poster on here. But seeing we are in secret mode I won't name him!

A 5-4 thriller is on the cards today, not seen since Lenny johnrose hit the winner against west ham in 1989

Weren't we 5 - 1 up in that game then ended up hanging on ? That'd go down well in the present climate

I was so chuffed we'd beaten West Ham I went and bought the video, still got it but nowt to play in on lol

I'm sure Jim is a better coach than many we've had over the years.

I'm sure you'll be fine.

People like or dislike people for different reasons.

Take me and you, for example :P

On the game, i'm going, not dragging myself out of duty, but there is an empty emotionless void.

I thought we had a feisty discourse the day Mr Beans without it getting nasty.

Enjoy the game today, there are those of us who would love to be there but can't be.

Not going myself today. Probably go last game of season but really don't enjoy it any longer. Days of many of us going and having a few beers are drawing to an end. That is more important for the whole experience than going and just watching the game. Call it ducking out call it what you want. Club is dying and the ignorance to change it will cost them dearly in time. I'm out

I also remember the Palace 5-4 in 88. 1-3 down, back to 3-3 then 3-4, and Hendry got the last minute winner in our 2nd comeback. Our record was W2 D1 L1 against them that season but it was us who had our hearts and dreams crushed and they who went up. :(

Decided to put my head in a bucket of warm @#/?. It will be more enjoyable than Ewood today.

Maybe not..........I may miss a thriller.....so off to Ewood I go.

I don't want to go. I think I'd rather remember Ewood full from the last home game, than go today, when there'll probably be less than 10,000.

No it will circa 13,250 announced gate.

The real gate will be more like 8,500

Not one youth team or unknown quantity in the team with O'Sullivan and Lenihan on the bench - very surprising he isn't taking the chance to try people.

@OneRovers: ROVERS: Eastwood, Henley, Spurr, Kilgallon ©, Olsson, Marshall, Cairney, Williamson, Conway, Rhodes, Gestede.

Very, very low turn out today. Quiet walking down to the ground - although the Riverside looks the most populated.

The "attendance" will be a long way out today.

Complete nothing match. Zero fan expectations. Nothing to play for. Ideal match to blood some youngsters.

Last time the excuse was that they had a cup final to play. Then they were pulled from the cup final squad (weakening it) for an alternative nothing fixture.

Baffling.
