Oldgregg86 Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Just wondering what fans think of Karl Robinson. I'm not part of the bowyer out brigade as I feel very few managers would do a better job and as uninspiring as it can be sometimes rocking the boat is probably goin to make are next season worse than better with the realistic managerial options. However I like the thought of Karl Robinson from mk dons. Young, enthusiastic, done a great job so far, seems to be a good judge of player and have the right contacts. Tactically astute and would possibly come to ewood. Thoughts....,

chaddyrovers Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I'm a big fan of him. plays attacking passing football. I suggestion his name to replace Kean when he left Rovers. If Bowyer was to leave Rovers he would be on my shortlist to replace him.
Oldgregg86 Posted May 3, 2015 Author Posted May 3, 2015 He would be my number 1 choice if bowyer were to leave. Like you said his brand of football is how i feel football should be played. Fast attacking passing football. Done a great job so far and I think he would take rovers forward were as with bowyer it's that word again. Stability
tomphil Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 A brighter fresher style of football wouldn't do any harm that's for sure although I just don't think we have the players for much of that at present. Granted they are capable of being a bit more dynamic than they are though.
Mercer Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 A slow burner ! 5 years to get one of the best resourced clubs in League 1 up. We pretty much need instant success.
Jock Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Under achieved in that division.Fit in well at Ewood and Club Tropi-brockhall
Oldgregg86 Posted May 3, 2015 Author Posted May 3, 2015 Last season Karl Robinson spent 5.7 million whilst re coupling 10.9 million securing promotion and improving the team lets see where we are in. 5 years I wouldn't be surprised if they finish above us next season
roverandout Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 We will see how Karl Robinson does in the championship seeing as how chaddy is always advocating him on here
1arC Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 MKD will do a Bournemouth next year. You will get good odds on their promotion before the season kicks off, so get your tenner on now.
scotchrover Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 If he's been that good already, why isn't he in the Championship now? Most ofthe clubs in our division have changed managers this season, yet this bloke hasn't been appointed any...
roverzee Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 A slow burner ! 5 years to get one of the best resourced clubs in League 1 up. We pretty much need instant success. Only in your head. Same tune you played12, 24 and 36 months ago. And KR would be fantastic back at BRFC, however your knowledge is so lacking you probably have no idea why.
Ricky Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 If prefer warbuton from Brentford. Also plays nice football and has done it on a shoestring budget.
the original david brent Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 As if Karl Robinson would come here! He is with a club who regardless of their franchise beginnings are on the rise. Their support base is on the increase, they are financially stable and they have a decent chairman in Pete Winkelman who actually communicates with fans and media!
Oldgregg86 Posted May 4, 2015 Author Posted May 4, 2015 If prefer warbuton from Brentford. Also plays nice football and has done it on a shoestring budget. Yeah I would be happy for warburton to have a go
andyroversmad Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I'm not convinced Robinson would do any better than Bowyer and we would have to pay compensation to get him from MK Dons. Warburton has already proved he can get a team in the play offs in the championship and he would cost nothing to appoint cause bizarrely Brentford want rid of him.

Change a few names and you could be talking about Lancashire County FC.

T J Hooker Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 normally I wouldn't see him being a big enough improvement over bowyer to warrant the change, that said! personally id still prefer to take the gamble than have to go through another season of Bowyers bs mediocre @#/? and excuses. Theres better candidates than Robinson out there(domestic and oversees) and NO before some twerp asks im not going to waste more of my time putting a list of names together for some tedious pedantic diff to gleefully poke holes in.
McClarky Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 No opinion on this bloke apart from there must be zero chance we would leave MKD to cone to this car crash. Besides, he has too much experience to meet the requirements of the job.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Did MK Dons not have another successful manager in recent years - I wonder what happened to him
