We disagree on much Abbey, but I certainly wouldn't describe you as a fair weather fan. You've always struck me as a hard core fan, the very bedrock on which the club depends. It's surely possible to be both a hard core fan and hold differing views on where we are and how we go forward as a club. It's the fans who turn their backs on the club during tough times, only the return when thing improve that I, personally, have little time for.

We need all sorts. Best bit about supporting a team like Rovers is the banter and disagreements. We all cheer as one, but whinge at each other.

We need the 10k or so we still have despite some passionate difference of opinions they keep turning up. The club/owners and those running it (as well as a few fans) would love 15 thousand + Rovers Fans to turn up every game and clap the mistakes, roar the sideways football and just shrug their shoulders and trot off till next time win, lose or draw. As well as ignoring what's going on behind the scenes by the way. Sadly for them and some on here Blackburn isn't like that and never has been and never will be.

A spade is a spade in this area and no amount of flannel will cover it up. However get things going forwards, build a head of steam and keep things real and they can count on some great support. Something that really hasn't dawned on them yet.

Abbey, we might not agree on much but I know we agree on our passion/desire for Rovers and that we both attend has many Rovers games as we can home or away.

Rovers require all different types of fans who are passion about Blackburn Rovers

I think the club need every fan they can get at the minute. One persons opinion about you doesn't really matter and I wouldn't take it to heart. It sounds crazy, but I know what it's like to fall in love with Blackburn Rovers. From what I have read of your posts, you also love Blackburn Rovers, so no getting away from it. You will always be a fan and decisions as to if and when you attend matches, will never take it away. As the late Bill Shankly said after being asked if football was a matter of lief and death. "It's much more important than that". That's the kind of fan I perceive you to be!

We need as many as we can get down ewood on a regular basis cheering on the team.

I think all Rovers fans (myself included) are worried about the club. People express this differently which is where I think disagreements occur. Some people like to express it angrily aimed at venkys, anderson, kean etc etc. Some want to try and talk about the ever dwindling reasons for hope.

But underneath it all I think we are just scared because the club we all love may cease to exist because of the events of the past few years. So maybe we should cut each other a bit of slack for the ways we express it.

1. You make an observation that (along with management) parson is happy to "languish" in this division and the then say opposite thinking fans will walk away, as they are fed up.

I actually said "Good riddance. If your the type of fan who decides "I'm not watching my team unless they are top division" then it's no skin off my nose if you don't come."

You missed a word out. I said IF, I didn't aim it directly at you it was a reply to these "fans that will walk away" which at this point your not one of.

If you do walk away, then why should I care? You obviously wouldn't care enough to stay so like I say, good riddance.

But you haven't Abbey. Ffs, try to avoid just going off the handle at people all the time. These people that you mention who'd walk away- how could you ever see it as a rational move if you are (like me) a genuine supporter who will renew whatever happens?

just what we need, another attention seeking thread that is only going to cause more division and bickering with fans on here, with threads like this the club doesn't need to worry about having to do the divide and conquering.
