Defeat tomorrow has surely to spell the end for Bowyer. This Bowyer love-in madness has to come to an end pretty dam quick.

I get the feeling he's unsackable, he is Mr 3000% you know and he's also another puppet and I just can't see them waving ta ta to that very easily.

On another note where are the Pro Gaz brigade these days ???? Done enough running about digging people out in the recent past but now disappear under their rocks. Showing their true colours these days it seems, still a nice win tomorrow and we should look forwards to seeing them again :P

Nothing but peace and love for thee bluebottle. I think your a bit of a waverer anyway where our Gaz is concerned if truth be told B)

One win and we're 16th!

Garry Rowett and Gary Bowyer on the BBC before the season. One was bitchin about the embargo. One said he wished he could even compete with embargoed clubs on wages.

One manager sits 4th. One manager sits 22nd.

You never know, Shorty might turn out to be our very own version of Rowett if Gary get's his pay off :o

Proof the FFP excuse is more Bowyer bullshit... Starting to think this twohat is more toxic than kean he's certainly cleverer and remember he was at Brockhall and behind the scenes all the way along the venkyscum ride also remember he supposedly didn't want the gig..

It was interesting to see Charlton's 'captain' on Football League Tonight. When asked about this season he said their aim is promotion and the top six.

I wonder what our club captain's response would be if asked the same question...or any of our players.

Interesting to listen to Steve Clarke after yesterday's game. Spoke of the need for the midfield to always be on the front foot looking to pass forward as soon as they win the ball. A quote along the lines of 'no point playing 4 or 5 sideways or backward passes to just keep the ball, that's negative play'.

The polar opposite of right good go Gaz.

If Lowe or Evans heard that they would probably think he' s gone mad. "Our Gaz'd never have us do that. How can you have a reet good go if you don't go sideways and backwards

Yeah I saw that as well. Think the lads called Jackson but am not 100%. Club captain can't get a game just now. Said they believed they could achieve the play offs and that was their hope.

No reason our squad shouldn't believe the same but I sincerely doubt it. Rhodes said as much with his comments about Boro seemingly more likely to push for the PL.

We are well resourced at this level and pay out a fortune to currently be in the bottom three. Depressing.

Forest won tonight and whilst I am yet to see the updated league table would guess they are 6-7th.

They finished a number of places below us last season.

Absolutely crippling is this embargo, said nobody ever in Nottingham at this moment in time.

Time to go gary. Stop hiding behind the embargo.

Massive 2 games for the club coming up. Should we, as I expect, lose tomorrow we'll be 2 points from safety.

Fail to win on Saturday and I'd expect us to be more than a win adrift with a really tough run of fixtures to come.

It's fair to say that this is the worst predicament we've known on and off the pitch in 30 years with no light at the end of the tunnel to speak of. Bad times indeed.

They're 8th, only 1 point off top 6 though and 8 points more than us.

I see that after taking the blame for the 5-1 thrashing on Saturday, Big Mick got a win at Leeds, Ipswich up to 5th.

Top guy, if only !

Why's he left anyone know ?

Fallen out with Cellino

Leeds legend Eddie Gray defended Cellino on LUTV when it was suggested there may have been a difference of opinion between the owner and Pearson, commenting: "If you've got somebody running the football club and putting his money into the club, he'll do as he sees fit."

Preston, MK Dons and Bristol City are struggling in this league.

Heard some PNE fans on BBC Radio Lancashire aren't very happy with Grayson as manager and BBC Radio Lancashire football analysts Alan Smart was ripping into Simon Grayson's tactics and playing strikers on either wing

Looking forward to Derby failing to get promoted and then getting their comeuppance for spending millions assembling a squad that clearly no club in this division can afford without serious external investment.

Then again, more likely is they'll miss out on promotion and then spend another £15 million next summer to give it another go without any punishment whatsoever whilst we suffer a 4th window under an embargo.

Reality check needed at all 3 of those clubs. None of them have strengthened significantly since getting promotion despite Bristol's best attempts to do so. They presumably thought that the transition from top end League One to Championship would be smooth.

None of them are big clubs, infact all 3 I consider 3rd division in terms of size, success and recent history. Despite Sky Sports' best attempts I will never accept that MK are a real club and the sooner they are gone from this league the better for football. As for Bristol there persists this fantasy of the South West having a big Premier League club with gates of 40,000 a week in the near future. That won't ever happen because as big a place as Bristol is it has never had a football tradition and is more concerned with rugby and other sports.
