G Somerset Rover Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 QPR look like a pub team. Their gaffer will be gone soon IMO. Cairney having a very good game.

Mercer Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Very impressed with Fulham tonight. Some quality players. Looked far more settled than they did against Rovers. As for QPR, awful. Ramsey not cutting it. Two points lost for Rovers at QPR, not a point gained.
Walney Blue Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Very impressed with Fulham tonight. Some quality players. Looked far more settled than they did against Rovers. As for QPR, awful. Ramsey not cutting it. Two points lost for Rovers at QPR, not a point gained. We ran then aground for 45minutes and fired several across the bow 1st engagement, hardly The Spanish Armada Fulham.
West Yorks Rover Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Anyone noticed how poor Cardiff''s home gates are this season ? 13,980 on today, shocking foreign ownership has obviously done for them too. Nice to see Pompey top of League 2 and unbeaten though.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Sad days when Burnley are getting bigger gates than us.
Mattyblue Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Thing is even when they were charging to promotion they were struggling to pull in more than 13000 or so. They've now got a few of the PL fans staying on, as is normally the case, couple of middling seasons and they'll be back to 10k.
Backroom DE. Posted September 26, 2015 Backroom Posted September 26, 2015 If Venky's had never bought the club we'd still be pulling in gates of 18-20k even if we'd been relegated imo. The impact these idiots have had on the club has been brutal.

SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Watching Boro v Leeds just rams home how difficult our situation has become. Around 30,000 on for a Televised Sunday game...every season we spend in this division, now just seemingly making up the numbers,it just gets more difficult as our stock lowers.

Forgot this game was on - but now found it.
had.e.nuff Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I wonder if Brentford are going to be another case of be careful what you wish for with there owners strange decision with there manager last season.Another foriegn owner with strang ideas.
chaddyrovers Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Isn't Brentford owner Matthew Benham English? He also owned a team in Denmark. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jul/27/how-fc-midtjylland-analytical-route-champions-league-brentford-matthew-benham He is a strong belives in Stats and playing a certain style of play.
Blue blood Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 And Leeds despite their sky sponsorship, I mean coverage, still aren't doing too well. Enjoyed seeing them lose again.
Backroom DE. Posted September 27, 2015 Backroom Posted September 27, 2015 Their defending today made ours look half-decent in comparison.
JHRover Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Rotherham have sacked Steve Evans and Paul Raynor. Really odd decision given they have won their last 2 and climbed out of the bottom 3. He's worked wonders there to get them in the Championship and keep them there after back to back promotions. Our old friend Eric Black has got the caretaker job, but wonder who they will go for long term.
sharpysharps Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 That is really odd regarding Rotherham...they just beat Birmingham 2-nil away from home
JHRover Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Wouldn't be surprised to see Evans pitch up at Doncaster next. They want a new manager and his record in the lower leagues is outstanding. Was heavily linked to Peterborough last week so wonder if Rotherham aren't impressed if he wanted the job there but didn't get it.
Blue blood Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Well the managerial merry-go-round has started. Not too surprised by the Brentford sacking - although it shows how key it is to get the right manager - but Rotherham is a bit of a puzzling one. This is the guy who took them up twice, and kept them up, despite them being one of the smallest teams in the championship. It's not even as if their recent form is that bad. Baffling. It also shows that Bowyer has a totally different set of standards (as in none) compared to every other club, where even a small run of poor form sees you out the door. Don't think the sacking would help either club though - think both will still be in a relegation scrap come the back end of the season.
chaddyrovers Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Wolves owner Steve Morgan has put the club up for sale.
chaddyrovers Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Very surprised by Rotherham sacking Steve Evans after they won 2 games recently. would be surprised if something has kick out behind the scenes. in Rotherham statement says the club wants to go in a different direction now. According to Sky Bet, Stuart Gray and Neil Redfearn are the current favourites for the job I'm not at all surprised that Brentford have sacked Marinus Dijkhuizen as their head coach. seemed a strange choice when he was appointed there. but very surprised that Lee Carsley has been appointed there as head coach until end of the season.
J*B Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Young lad Cairney with funky hair looks really good at Fulham. The playmaker we need.
