We'll stay up. The bottom 3 look utterly rubbish. Bolton are nailed on to go down. As are Rotherham.

Don't think MK Dons, Preston or Bristol City will do as well as us in the long haul either (although I do rate their manager.) Brentford, Huddersfield and Leeds all have the potential to implode too.

Mind you, am looking increasingly wrong about Cardiff, so perhaps it's not as cut and dried as we're safe - it never is as simple as it looks on paper. But the odds of us doing better than at least 3 of those teams are pretty favourable imo.

I think you're correct but depressing when our expectations are to be the best of a bad bunch. Mind you it will be another tick in our managers 'stability' box

Charlton too

How on earth did I miss them out? Good spot - another team we'll be better than. Mind you we were lauding being the 9th best team last year as ARA says it shows how expectations are plummeting.

So the big derby between the city clubs of Birmingham and Wolves sees half empty home sections and only 2k away fans. Just another example of what SKY, prices and stupid kick off times do to the game. No bubble either so food for thought for those who slag off our crowds.

They don't seem to turn in many bad back to back games under Rowett I don't think. Same old thing for us, if Rhodes has hit one of his little runs again we can get something.

Burnley 2-0 up.. Bet its another 'just do enough', typical under dyche.. Boring boring Burnley.. :o

Edit- yep, hudds 61% poss, 13 corners, 11 shots, yet Burnley winning.. :(

Big Club looked very very average today. Bit of pace out wide but that's about it. We need to be aiming for 3 points on Tuesday, particularly with an extra two days rest under our belts.

Agree, we should aim to win there. IMO we'll end the season above brum and the much heralded rowett..

Preston and Bolton make us look like Barca....both absolute dross.

I remember having a quick chat with Bob Fleming just after we were relegated (don't know if he remembers?). We were both of the opinion that it would be difficult in this league due to the quality of the better teams. Goodness - how we were wrong. I haven't seen a good side yet.

Absolutely Den,just a run of the Mill team putting a half decent run together and suddenly your promotion material in this picture p!ss pot league.

So frustrating for our fans...we had a 40 goal strike force last season.

Arrrrggghhhh!

Preston has 5/6 strikers but dont score goals.

Bolton have drawn 7 games out of 14 games played

Prestons strikers looked scared of getting in the box, and as a team they looked short on quality. However I think they said that was 4 clean sheets in a row. We should be wary of that.
