chaddyrovers Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Draw it was, neither team impressed me. It was boring game after both teams scored. I guess both teams happy with a point

Ewooduknow Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I wouldn't be surprised if both teams are out of the top 6 by the end of the season.
Neil Weaver Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Berardi's red card from yesterday. Yikes. That one's ludicrous, but it's not yesterday's - it was an elbow from Best and Berardi (who I think got a broken nose for his trouble) reacted, not too surprisingly....... http://the72.co.uk/40538/leeds-uniteds-berardi-sent-off-twitter-reacts/ (near the top of that article).

It seems I got the timeline mixed up, sorry.
jodrell Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I have a feeling Best might get more than 3 games for that.
wolfie Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Eddie Davies wiping out the debt at Bolton when the club is sold. Hope the Venkys read this. https://t.co/zBK2TWTSTM
Backroom DE. Posted November 23, 2015 Backroom Posted November 23, 2015 He'll need to as the new owners will likely be starting off in League 1.
tomphil Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 He'll still be looking for 20/30 mill for the club and assets. Anyone buying it will be looking at that side of it before the football side probably.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 24, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted November 24, 2015 I don't suppose he has much choice to be honest. He's never getting that back... I'd imagine Gartside might be off his Christmas card list mind!
roverzee Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Eddie Davies wiping out the debt at Bolton when the club is sold. Hope the Venkys read this. Be careful what you wish for. When our club was occupied by outside scum driven only by selfish ulterior motives, theirs was supposedly being managed and run by people who actually cared and wanted success. Somehow as things stand today we're in a better position both on and off the pitch.
BlueMonday Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Whats the problem between Davies and Gartside? And what are Gartsides health problems, or is that just a smoke screen for him being ousted. Not really kept up to speed with Trotters news.

Rover_Shaun Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Remember Wolfie EVERYTHING is rosy now and forgiven
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 25, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted November 25, 2015 Remember Wolfie EVERYTHING is rosy now and forgiven I don't think you need to be so melodramatic Shaun. One good decision (appointing Lambert) doesn't undo the many other poor ones made by this lot.
Guest Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 One good decision (appointing Lambert) doesn't undo the many other poor ones made by this lot. It could do...
Backroom DE. Posted November 25, 2015 Backroom Posted November 25, 2015 It could do... If we get promoted, crowds return to 18-20k, debts are cleared and we spend a few seasons in the PL mid-table, sure. Until then probably best to withhold the praise for our esteemed owners.
Rover_Shaun Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 You not tempted back by Lambert, Shaun? I could be. It's a massive step in the right direction five years on. I am now realising that it could be a long old wait for the club to get new owners. I do miss it. If Shaw was to rightly get potted between now and the summer I could rejoin the outlaw if he'll move back to the Riverside. As the JW stand in out for me as I'm neither a film star or a pensioner.
JHRover Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Well I for one am looking forward to a significantly bigger gate and better atmosphere at the game on Saturday. Venkys have delivered in terms of sacking the unpopular Bowyer and have appointed the proven manager that was asked for. Ticket prices are among the lowest in the division. Time for the supporters to do their side and buy tickets and support the team/club. No doubt a travelling 3-4 thousand contingent from Sheffield will swell the gate up into the high teens in any event. Will be interesting to see how many bother to turn up against Rotherham and Forest in a few weeks.

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 25, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted November 25, 2015 It could do... I should have clarified- I meant immediately.
ffan Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 No one wants to work under Rigg. Curbishley turned Rigg down as well!
Backroom DE. Posted November 26, 2015 Backroom Posted November 26, 2015 Seems like QPR are having a difficult time persuading anybody to work under Les Ferdinand too. Surely Fulham and QPR have to appoint somebody soon.
JHRover Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Going off Rowett's comments today it doesn't sound like he will be leaving Birmingham for either Fulham or QPR. QPR are in a slightly better position because they've got Warnock and Blackwell in charge in the interim, and you won't find a more experienced pair anywhere. I thought it was odd that Peter Grant took charge of Fulham at MK Dons on Saturday. I thought Curbishley was in caretaker charge but then it was Grant taking the team on Saturday? Fulham seem to have slipped up. Seems like they wanted Pearson/Clarke and both fell through and now they're having to go down the list and candidates will know they aren't first or even second choice.
chaddyrovers Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 No one wants to work under Rigg. Curbishley turned Rigg down as well! What role does Curbishley have at Fulham currently? why does no-one want to work with Rigg? I wouldn't be surprise if Fulham appoint someone like Pearce or Clark tbf
