Rigg is Fulham's CFO (Chief Football Officer).

From the club's website:

Upon appointing Rigg, Mr Khan stated that he will work collaboratively with the First Team Head Coach, as well as the scouting team, the Academy, sports performance, medical and our analytics team.

So he's essentially a DoF with a bit more power.

That's got disaster written all over it. The Chicken Chokers aren't the only numpties running a football club then.

I have a feeling Best might get more than 3 games for that.

Cheap shot from Best and like the punk he is he has not the balls to stand up for himself when confronted.

What role does Curbishley have at Fulham currently?

why does no-one want to work with Rigg?

I wouldn't be surprise if Fulham appoint someone like Pearce or Clark tbf

Curbishley initially was appointed as Fulham's Sporting Director around 2 years ago. He was sacked after 2 months along with Meulensteen. Then we got relegated and had Magath as manager before finally Symons was appointed.

During Curbishley's brief tenure as sporting director he and Symons who was u21 maanger at the time got on very well. So when Kit was appointed Fulham manager he wanted a role for Curbishley but Curbishley refused. Eventually he agreed to become an "advisor" to Symons under the condition that it was a silent agreement. There was no official announcement on the website concerning his Curbishley's position or role. So what does Curbishley do and how much power does he have? We don't know.

Rigg asked him to be caretaker manager but did so in a very demeaning/condescending way so Curbishley rejected it. He has a contract as advisor so is still there in that capacity now advising Peter Grant. He will no doubt get another pay off from Fulham when a new head coach comes in.

I think we are sometimes so wrapped up in our own woes we often miss that other clubs are run in equally barmpot ways. Seems to be the norm in this division.

Quite enjoying not being the most @#/? up club in the league, all sounds very mental at Fulham.

Make my day, hire Kean.

Thanks for the reply.

I still feel that Curbishley being your next manager/Head coach would be best for your club even if just to the end of the season and review it then.

Who else is Rigg lining up? and I wonder if he will try again for Pearson or Jokanovic? Maybe look to appoint a lower league manager like Dean Smith or Someone with Championship experience like Rosler or Clark?

Charlton fans holding up "we are the 2%" signs today after comments from their Chief Exec that only 2% of the fans are unhappy with what's happening at the club. Brings back memories - the bald snake may as well have been our Chief Exec during that period, considering how much influence he had over the club.

In curbishley you have the perfect man in place, don't know why Fulham fans dislike him, Fulham just wwon't be able to attract a manager of lamberts calibre, rovers have a premiership set up (@#/? owners) fulham dont have either

Details of the monies paid to players representatives by Rovers from Oct 14 to Sept 15. It is still a colossal amount for a club with the massive debt we have.

That's absolutely staggering when you bear in mind we haven't signed a player for cash since the summer of 2014 and even then it was limited to Shane Duffy.

Between October 2014 and September 2015 the extent of our dealings with agents has been renewing existing contracts e.g. Olsson for another year, and then the free signings of people like Guthrie and Akpan.

How on earth that can stretch to £1,250,000 I'll never know.

A chunk of it could have been to Leon Bests agent when his contract was cancelled. Even so it appears we are still a long way from getting our house in order. It will be interesting to see a comparison between us and the other embargoed Championship clubs.

Bolton have just announced that they have not been able to pay their players wages for November due to a 'short term funding issue'.

Things looking pretty bleak at the Reebok.

Just following the pattern set after the takeover with huge agents payments every season, sometimes bafflingly so. I'll always remain convinced a lot of it finds it's way to someone somewhere who has a vested interest, almost like a yearly divi and it's bled out via this means.

Sounds like the bank have pulled their overdraft option away from notlob. Someone was telling me the other week it was due for renewal or something and it was highly expected it wouldn't be so they were looking around for other options. Dire times for them and sooner or later they'll be in admin unless they can sell it.

Yet no embargo for Bolton......

Just proves how farcical FFP really is. More ammo for our legal team if we're looking to fight our way out of it though.

Bolton don't have a wet lettuce for an MD. That always helps.

I think that may be an insult to wet lettuces

They did have Gartside though, kind of a more bullish (bullshiting) version of Derek maybe according to some of them. Equally as useless and untrustworthy though.

Thanks for this. That is about £7m (including ours) that the embargoed clubs have spent on players representatives. Absolutely staggering.

Why doesn't it show the number of transactions for the final amount of money ?
