Ridiculous they've ended up in this state, I know that so far we've been ok because the owners are somehow paying the bills but others have come down skint and avoided this. Don't know if it's correct but a Bolton mate tells me Gartside was on about 800k per year total. Also no way have they paid off as many as us although they did retain quite a few on big money but where has all their parachute cash gone ?

Same old story in football, a load will have filled their own pockets whilst the club goes to the wall. FFP my arse !

Like us appointing GB down the line ..? reallyyyy ???

BM took Reading to ninth ..the play offs then automatic promotion in three seasons , taking them into the Premier League with no investment totally p*ssing over what GB did and will ever do wherever he surfaces again.

Then took Leeds on ..which was only ever going to end one way.

Decent MANAGER ..and a decent BLOKE.

BM 2- GB 0

Far more inclined to agree with this comment. He was brilliant at Reading, why wouldn't they have him back?

Yeah he failed at Leeds, but that's like failing at Newcastle. Practically inevitable!

Thats quite common knowledge among Bolton fans. Shame their squad is sh*t, would have been decent opportunity to try and get a few on the cheap. Mark Davies (on his day/when fit), Clough and Clayton are probably the pick of a poor bunch.

Bowyer should have been sacked at least 1 year ago. Those of us with even half a brain could see that........the others....well.........maybe there's something in the water in some parts of Lancashire.

Anyway, QPR or Burnley today? QPR are the only team that can put us back at the top of the bottom of the league with a win.

Incredibly a win on Monday could see us up to 7th in the table on goal difference, albeit temporarily before the rest of the teams play on Tuesday night.

I wonder if the team will get the heebie Gazebies again when confronted with the possibility of lofty heights....

Can I just say that I am delighted with Lambert as manager and think he is doing a fantastic job.

HOWEVER I'd also like to acknowledge the great job Grayson is doing at Preston. They're a small club in this league - at least one league above where they should be imo - and are currently 8 points above the drop zone. The idea that Grayson can't cut it in this league is a myth imo, and Preston punching above their weight is one example of this. I expect Preston will probably drop down the table a bit but nevertheless it shows Grayson knows what he's doing and is a good manager. Would certainly have had him at Rovers. Happily, that wishful thinking isn't particularly needed thanks to our latest appointment, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention the good job he's doing.

Don't forget those Nobber supporters. Best in the game.
