old darwen blue Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Miles better than that series on the BBC with interesting Steve Claridge and Leroy though.
roverandout Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Channel 5 are jokers when it comes to football, absolute amateurs, Pat Nevin ffs!!!
JHRover Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Next Tuesday's Championship fixture between Brentford and Birmingham has been postponed until the end of September so that Brentford can relay their pitch! If it was us and I'd booked train tickets down to London I'd be wanting my money paid back by Brentford.

If it was us and I'd booked train tickets down to London I'd be wanting my money paid back by Brentford. Indeed, especially as the cost of train travel fluctuates so much depending on when it's booked rather than being a set price! But, that's one for the rant thread!

Hasta Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Not championship related but did Portsmouth get so skint that they had to sell their tv camera gantry. It looks like the camera is at dugout height on SS2 at the moment.
JHRover Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Apparently a 'health and safety issue' which prevents them from using the higher gantry. Sky must have had a lot of complaints because they've apologised about 5 times!
whatdial Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Lucas Joao was brilliant last night for the owls. I know it was in the cup against Mansfield, but watch out for him this season. Big match on Saturday for rovers after 2 defeats in a week. Lucky you still have Rhodes as he always scores against them.
Baz Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 They should have the book thrown at them it's inexcusable at this point in the season They should award Birmingham a 3-0 win, and the same for every subsequent home game this continues too.
whatdial Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 They should award Birmingham a 3-0 win, and the same for every subsequent home game this continues too. Agreed. This would happen at Sunday league.
Backroom Tom Posted August 13, 2015 Backroom Posted August 13, 2015 I know it's mentioned a lot but that's Leeds played 2 - been on sky twice already this season!
Baz Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I know it's mentioned a lot but that's Leeds played 2 - been on sky twice already this season! Be fair Tom, they have 2 fixtures this month not on Sky.
skous18 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Burnley started better , but now its all Birmingham. Some great short passes and it looks like B'gham are really enjoying their game P.s. Birmingham just hit the post. Great game so far, both teams are very very fast
perthblue02 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 liking the Birmingham kit, certainly a thunderbirds retro vibe going on there
Gav Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Turf morgue is living up to its reputation, you can hear a pin drop. Watching Jones you have to wonder why we never signed that lad up, he's head and shoulders above any midfielder we have at the club.
donnermeat Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 liking the Birmingham kit, certainly a thunderbirds retro vibe going on there Except for the fact it's made by Carbrini.
skous18 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Mike Keane scored. 1-1 That was never a penalty. But anyway. Burnley 1-2 Birmingham
bob fleming Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Good pen! Very harsh decision mind you. At least the refs are consistent I suppose.
bob fleming Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Clear penalty Oh absolutely. He should have walked for that!
Dunnfc Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Dyche will be fuming with that one, it's a penalty in the letter of law but very very harsh. Happens all the time and picked up one in every ten. Burnley been very much kick and rush and miss the pace of Ings to chase up top.
Waggy76 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Interesting scoreline at Middlesborough , I was told a few weeks ago by a Bolton fan , Sam will be the next manager of Bolton ... Food for thought !
