chor808 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 We could do with someone like judge....oh wait.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 15, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted January 15, 2016 I saw that first half and the dingles battered Brentford in all honesty. 3 very good goals. The team have been together for a while and seem to be coming into some form.
had.e.nuff Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Cardiff put under embargo as the owner put money into the club - is that not a good thing? I can only think that some clubs accountants are cleverer than the football league assessors, and are hiding debt on the balance sheets. It is odd though that Cardiff are being punished on 15th Jan. And still nothing done to QPR
Amo Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 We could do with someone like judge....oh wait. Annoys me how people perpetuate this myth that Judge wasn't wanted here. The majority of comments on here were cautiously optimistic or open-minded about his signing at the time, and when he left we foolishly gave Bowyer the benefit of the doubt. Unsurprisingly, he's gone on to prove that Bowyer didn't have a Scooby how to get the best out of him.

A cup of beans Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 You must have missed my post! While it's plain GB failed to get anything out of Judge, I think a large portion of the blame goes on the player himself. In the games I saw him, he looked lightweight, lethargic, and lost. He didn't strike me as someone doing his upmost to shine either. Maybe he's got his confidence back, and built up his enthusiasm in league 1.
den Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Players, players, players. They have a mix of experience, leaders, and players that have done the business at this level and the PL. We have a side with no leaders, hardly anyone over 30, no pace, no hunger and no strength. Their one frugal year in the PL has put them light years ahead of us. Yep, the games all about the players Matty. Watching Burnley for the short period that I did, it was obvious that they had players of far better quality than we have in almost every position. It's a big job that Lambert has on his hands here. One way or another, he has to raise funds for a rebuild.

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 15, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted January 15, 2016 I agree Den, their midfield is superior to our trundlers and they know where the goals are.We had one of them and then Bowyer decided to try and sign Jay Spearing instead, but failed and we ended up with neither! We also had one of their defenders and let him go to the other side of the M65....
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 They have a way of playing that suits the players in their squad. They know their best team. Everybody knows what's required of them. Nothing fancy, just basic football and the same way of playing and the same eleven every week. We chop and change, can't establish a way of playing that works for us. Guys get injured regularly, some without even actually playing ! Football's an easy game when you get the basics right.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 More worrying is the prospect of a severe dicking at the turd in March Yep,three losses on the bounce coming up against that lot! OH MY
BlueMonday Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 A small club like Bristol city will never be a premier league club, clubs have to accept their level and Bristol city are a lower half championship/league 1 clubI'm glad Jack didn't think like that.

With Judge, Rochina, Dunn, King, Dann, Cairney and Gestede as well as Rhodes, Conway and Hanley who remain here, the 13/14 season really was our chance. Last season as well.
Iceman Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Yep,three losses on the bounce coming up against that lot! OH MY That use to be unheard of before
philipl Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 A small club like Bristol city will never be a premier league club, clubs have to accept their level and Bristol city are a lower half championship/league 1 club they had a decent run in the old first division. Bristol is a major city.

Damn. How many points can we realistically expect out of that lot? 3 or 4?
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 18, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted January 18, 2016 It's a bad run of games, but like tonight it's only ever 11 men against 11 men.
West Yorks Rover Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Bristol City beat Boro on Saturday, owt can happen in this league.
Iceman Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Need a few wins in January, just look at our fixtures in February and early March Feb 6th - Middlesboro A Feb 13th - Hull H Feb 20th - Ipswich A Feb 23rd - Derby A Feb 27th - MK Dons H Mar 1st - Middlesboro H Mar 5th - Dingles A Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere recently. 21 points we will get from those games.
Josh Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I haven't seen Junior Hoilett sprint for 3 years. His poor hamstrings
matt83 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Not sure if it's the QPR or wolves fans but loving the sky sports is @#/? @#/? and Saturday 3 o'clock chants.
