Does anyone still watch the Channel 5 football league show?

Looked like there were more Charlton fans protesting outside the ground than there were inside the ground.

Another nice Family Club 'turned bad'

Just watching the highlights from yesterday and I think ffan touched on it before, but Fulham are on a wretched run at the minute! I know they played Hull, but they must be getting a bit nervous....

Seems like (according to the highlights on 5), that Rob Green won't get picked for QPR due to a clause in his contract guaranteeing a new contract (Like Salgado).

Fulham are just wretched in general. That's why they beat us.

Burnley running riot against Derby, hate it but they are a great team at the moment going up again you would think

Burnley marching on to inevitable promotion whilst we battle relegation. If you didn't laugh...

Only hope is that they can't get above third, then who knows what the play offs throw up.

They get up this time with the new TV deal about to kick in and you can wave goodbye to competing with them again for a long time.

Only hope is their next managerial appointment is a disaster.

No point tying the nooses yet lads, a lot of football to be played yet. Derby and 'Boro having a bit of a wobble, and Hull and Burnley bang in form, but anything can happen in the play-offs, let's pray they only end up there...

We're gonna get a pasting at their gaff unless huge improvements are made over the coming weeks.

Fortunately football rarely pans out like that. They used all their luck up tonight.

Burnley have the graft, wherewithal and no little guile. They wont be far away.

Derby for all their pretty football have a soft underbelly. Keogh is an absolute liability, a mistake waiting to happen - until Derby replace him, they will always fall short.

You make your own luck !

The other half of it they spent at Ewood.

I think we'll beat them - just when everyone least expects it.

Having watched that tonight Buurnley were absolute pants and offered nothing until Derby very oddly self destructed. Very strange set of moves that was by the a couple of Rams players.

Can't even say I was impressed with the scruffs defending either as Derby walked through them in the first half but wasted every half chance or final ball. Why buy a striker who's been banging them in then play him on the left wing where he just turns it on to his right foot and crosses into touch every time, another bit of football manager logic that makes sense to no one else.

Even we wouldn't mess up if a game was handed to us on a plate like that surely

Regarding playing wingers on their wrong wing. It's just like the bringing everybody back for corners. No matter where you clear it to it just comes straight back at you. Crazy Ideas.

Get around the back of teams and goals will come. Play in front of them and not much happens.

Would you have played Ripley on the left and Wilcox on the right ? Or in my early days Ferguson on the left and Harrison on the right ?

Speaking to a Derby fan at work last night. He reckons that Derby have decided that Clement is a con merchant and will be sacked shortly.

I said it at the start of the season and I stand by it- Clement must be an utter plum if he can't get that squad promoted.

Really? they have had a poor month, not winning a league game in January but they were unbeaten in December (W 3, D 3)

They are 5th, only 7 points off top spot, not too shabby for a con merchant.

I'm simply giving you the perspective of one one of their supporters.

We know all too well how annoying it is when outsiders think they know what's actually going on within a club,

He added that the assistant manager is practically running the show.

I agree with K-Hod that with their squad they should be attaining automatic promotion.

We shall see.

To be fair to clement, it would be difficult to be a bigger idiot than McClaren- how he got a "promotion" after last season is beyond me.

It wasn't long ago Burnley were losing 0-2 at home to Preston, if they can go there and win then so can we. They'll obviously be favourites though.
