I'm simply giving you the perspective of one one of their supporters.

We know all too well how annoying it is when outsiders think they know what's actually going on within a club,

He added that the assistant manager is practically running the show.

I agree with K-Hod that with their squad they should be attaining automatic promotion.

We shall see.

Just another one who's got coach written all over him, yet because he dresses smart and speaks well in front of a camera he's thought to be the real deal. From what I've seen of them this season there has been some nieve tactical stuff going on. No wonder some of their fans are concerned as they are a good side.

Hull and Boro have a bit of a cushion but it is still an anybody can beat anybody division.

Two from the top five will get automatic promotion. Sheff Wed down to Wolves in contention for 6th but Brighton to drop out of it if they have another bad run which is quite possible.

At present, I am looking at the results of the six clubs below us before wondering what is happening in the rarefied heights...

I am hoping we have a good end of season to set us up with confidence for a solid push next season- with a more or less completely new squad!

Burnley look good bets for an automatic place IMO. They impressed me at Ewood (even though we played well and were unlucky) and look a well drilled solid side. Dyche's a top manager, no doubt about it.

If he was that good they would have stayed up last season. There's a reason that no top clubs have even approached him about taking over and he's still at Burnley 3.5 years after taking over.

I know they didn't spend big, but the best managers find ways of being successful on the smallest of budgets. Our very own Paul Lambert didn't do too badly with little money at Norwich when they went up.

Lets be realistic. Burnley SHOULD be at least in the top 6 this season with their squad and the money they have spent on the likes of Gray and Barton. It's not a momentus achievement like it was last time.

Dyche worked wonders to get them up 2 years ago with that squad. They made a choice that they weren't going to bet the ranch and would save the money and they came straight back down.

It wasn't long ago Burnley were losing 0-2 at home to Preston, if they can go there and win then so can we. They'll obviously be favourites though.

Unfortunately the Dingles are far better than us at the moment in terms of quality and the winning mentality

The Dingles may just have played a blinder in not spending, when they go up they will be further minted and more than likely add to the squad to keep up without going into debt.

Jesus, what is with everyone sucking the Dingles off?!!

It's making me queasy.

Seems like most have them in the Prem already. Madness really at this stage of season.

They aint all that. There's 18 games to go and Ipswich in 8th place are only 6 points behind them.

I don't even see it as guaranteed that they'll make the play-offs, and even if they do, we all know it's a lottery.

FWIW, the bookies all still have Derby above them in odds to go up, and that's after the 4-1 last night.

Relax people, I still reckon we'll have the pleasure of getting beat by them again next season. As long as Brizzle City, Charlton etc don't find too much form of course. ;)

West Brom was it ? who went up and down a few times but didn't stretch their budget in the Prem and then they didn't have to slash it back when they came down again. Worked for them after a few years despite their fans frustrations, seems Burnley are happy to try that way as well.

Bolton targetted by Billionaire ?

Bolton. Tamraz 'move' being orchestrated by well known football figure who used to run a couple of clubs and has fingers in a lot of pies...

Was talking to a mate of mine earlier works at Lancashire police. They've been sorting out the arrangements for the Burnley game and he says that Rovers are going to be given a maximum ticket allocation of 2,200 in the cricket field end with Burnley season ticket holders in the other side. Burnley are not prepared to relocate those people or give Rovers more tickets. To add icing to the cake all Rovers supporters will have to meet at Ewood to be bussed into Burnley with no exceptions and no collections at Clayton as in previous seasons.

Cast your minds back to the game at Ewood this season when Rovers gave Burnley 5,000 tickets and went to the trouble of turfing season ticket holders out of their seats in the Riverside and Jack Walker stands to provide additional segregation. Then Burnley fans were able to meet up in Blackburn to get the bus to the ground with independent buses allowed to go under their own arrangements.

This guy knows his stuff so I don't doubt he is correct. I knew that this would happen and it's a disgrace we sit back and take it.

Par for the course with BRFC.

However, 2200 seems like enough tickets to me this time.

We are going nowhere in the league, many fans expecting to get beat, live on Sky, novelty worn off, many sick of the ridiculous travel arrangements etc. etc..

No surprise that there is much more demand for Bolton and PNE away.

Ipswich back up into the playoff spots. If Lambert wants to see how it's done on a shoestring look no further. That's simply incredible management - to put it in perspective, Koita was earning more per week than any Ipswich player.

I hope we can take something from boro. Would take nil-nil now.

Realisticaly we need 3 against Fulham who we are neck & neck with and 3 off MK dons. Setting us up with a bit of momentum heading to turd moor. Its now up to other players marshall, conway, spurr etc to step and be leaders. We need watt and graham firing on all cylinders which I do think is doable .

In PL we trust
