Husky Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/channel-5-football-league-2497429.aspx Details of the new Footy League highlights show. Skype, Facetime, Studio Audience. Andy Townsends Tactics Truck. Razzamatazz. I didn't know it was on at 9pm. That sure beats having to wait until stupid o'clock. I've just seen it for the first time on 5 catch-up (or whatever). During the chat I found myself looking at the people in the background trying to work out if they were football fans or just some randoms.
Backroom DE. Posted August 16, 2015 Backroom Posted August 16, 2015 I quite like 5's coverage to be honest. It certainly beats Manish dwelling in the BBC studios basement with Steve Claridge.
Mike Graham Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Cairney scored another last night. A 20 yard "stunner".
G Somerset Rover Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Cairney scored another last night. A 20 yard "stunner".He had that hot streak at the start of last season too but then went cold. Hopefully he'll do the same there.
Paul Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I haven't read this thread for weeks so apologies if this has been discussed. Some say Cardiff and Wolves could be in the mix at the end of the season. Both looked absolutely bang average sides to me at Ewood. Now I know we were awful in these games but are we looking at a very average division? If we could get the team organised there could be cause for hope?

Wolves might be, Cardiff won't though, they're as much of a basket case as us!
davulsukur Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Dingles splashing £9mil on a player! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34017194
Backroom Tom Posted August 21, 2015 Backroom Posted August 21, 2015 Good news everyone! Leeds are on Sky tomorrow at 12:30 - it's only the 4th time this season they have been live on sky though.
Jimmy612 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Good news everyone! Leeds are on Sky tomorrow at 12:30 - it's only the 4th time this season they have been live on sky though. Scandalous.
Backroom Mike E Posted August 21, 2015 Backroom Posted August 21, 2015 Good news everyone! Leeds are on Sky tomorrow at 12:30 - it's only the 4th time this season they have been live on sky though. Is this your new gimmick? I like it!
Jimmy612 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Dingles splashing £9mil on a player! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34017194 Panic mode after a crap start to the season. He's signed loads of strikers and they're all shyte. This lad's a bit different though. Having watched them against Bimingham (who by the way I thought were very impressive), Burnley looked like they were missing a driving midfielder to me. Jones is decent at his job but Arfield was poor. Probably why Lansbury was high on their list. P.s. wouldn't be surprised to see Birmingham at least top 10 this season.
davulsukur Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Good news everyone! Leeds are on Sky tomorrow at 12:30 - it's only the 4th time this season they have been live on sky though. Just carry on the good news Leeds are live again the following saturday, against Derby @ 12.00
Rover_Shaun Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Dingles splashing £9mil on a player! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34017194 And only £6m for Gestede Just think what we'd have got if Venkys didn't always get top dollar for players
Backroom Tom Posted August 21, 2015 Backroom Posted August 21, 2015 Is this your new gimmick? I like it! I'm afraid I've got some bad news!
Athlete Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Dingles splashing £9mil on a player! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34017194 The dingles looking like having a go at it again

Now I know we were awful in these games but are we looking at a very average division? If we could get the team organised there could be cause for hope? Yes. Can't comment on Wolves but both Huddersfield and Cardiff were there for the taking. If we'd have continued to press after the equaliser vs Hudds and come out right from half time with all gins blazing vs. Cardiff we could have had 2 wins. Ok we were poor in both 1st halves and Hudds should have been out of sight, but better organised and motivated it's not a huge stretch to think they could have been wins.
Rover_Shaun Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Some say Cardiff and Wolves could be in the mix at the end of the season. Both looked absolutely bang average sides to me at Ewood. Only Bowyer thinks Cardiff will be in the top 6
had.e.nuff Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Good news everyone! Leeds are on Sky tomorrow at 12:30 - it's only the 4th time this season they have been live on sky though. sky sports leeds or sky sports 5 cheaper than a leeds season ticket
had.e.nuff Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I see its yet another draw in the championship tonight brum v derby i cant remember so many draws so early in the season
chaddyrovers Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Derby still havent won under Paul Clement this season and thats after spending 10 mil plus.
roverandout Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 What's your point? That bowyer is as good as Clement then?
chris_h Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Derby still havent won under Paul Clement this season and thats after spending 10 mil plus. I thought that Bolton would really take off with Lennon at the helm but I couldn't have been more wrong as it stands. Difficult conditions at the Breezeblock but by no means more difficult than at Ewood.
RevidgeBlue Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Derby still havent won under Paul Clement this season and thats after spending 10 mil plus. That's no surprise at all to me after witnessing how badly we played when he was assistant here.
