Got most of the information through reading Nixon's tweets (and he's been talking about Bolton Wanderers a lot due to recent events) but I haven't been following it that closely otherwise. Anyway I looked it up and yes it does appear Holdsworth has an ex-con in his group. Read down to the comments...

I think he would rebuild the club and get them challenging for promotion within 2 years.

Phil Brown has done a very good job at Southend.

Based on what ?

Ok he may be doing well at Southend and that's because he's finally found his level so if/when they go down the leagues you might have a point. Anything above that he's not been very good. 'Sunbed' or 'clown Brown' he was known as at Bolton by the players, that was his job as Allardyce right hand man. I'd have been terrified had he ever pitched up at Ewood.

Bristol City currently beating MK Dons 2-0 away from home (somebody please tell me how MK Dons beat us 3-0?) and Fulham winning 2-0 at Charlton. I believe that would put Fulham above us and Bristol City level on points with us, albeit that we will have two games in hand on both. Meanwhile suffice to say it's looking extremely bleak for Charlton, though MK Dons can be consoled by the fact Rotherham are losing to Bumley.

It wouldn't surprise me if Bolton stay up and Charlton, Rotherham and MK Dons go down.

Some interesting numbers in this report. The average Championship wage is just over £6k a week and we are and have been (allegedly) paying £10k to some dollopers.
