JHRover Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Huddersfield have released their pricing for next years season tickets, with adults at £179 in all areas of the ground. Good effort. We'll probably be waiting until June to find out about ours but there's a good 5-6 Championship clubs who have already announced prices/started selling for next season.

And I think Rovers should be applauded for being ahead of the game on ticket pricing. It is one of the few things the club can't really be criticised for in recent times.

Unless you are Nodrog who criticised the club constantly for low prices and thought the club should put prices up to whatever the highest comparative value was in the league. Utter bonkers
VinjayV4 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I've noticed that the login/password for Rovers player works on other websites as well. Was quite surprised by that but all Rovers games are replayed in full anyway. For some fans they might only have highlights unless their opponents replay the full game on their player. Can't see any reason for anyone to subscribe if their club only has highlights and mainly boring interviews. I checked a couple of league 2 clubs and neither replayed their full games. I didn't go through every club one by one but there's exceptions like Leeds who don't use the FL Interactive network. Leicester still have the same type of player as Rovers. No full games replayed though probably because the Premier League won't allow it. Rovers player should have older matches from years ago uploaded too. At one point they did sell VHS copies of some old games in the Roverstore so presumably it would be allowed.

Have you tried listening to the oppositions live commentaries? Sometimes it can be quite an eye opener to get another viewpoint and not just put it down to all the Rovers fans here being negative. When we played Hull, though it was 0-0 at half-time they were basically saying that we are a poor team and that they are going to give us a good battering in the 2nd half, and if they (Hull) really wanted to get five they could do so.
Backroom Silas Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 Marcus Olsson having a bit of nightmare there for Derby. Derby were putting loads of pressure on at 1-1, he's in acres of space down the wing and balloons a cross out of play. A few minutes later he misses a header on cross and wolves score to win 2-1. All the deficiencies we saw shown up in the space of 5 mins. If the olsson brothers didn't have pace in the locker I doubt they would ever have become professional footballers.
Backroom DE. Posted February 27, 2016 Backroom Posted February 27, 2016 Derby are nothing special and it's a huge shame we couldn't get anything from them midweek. Their league positon flatters them.
T J Hooker Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 why did Middlesbrough buy Rhodes? they really don't need him it seems, they should have saved there money and just bought cheap backup striker
Husky Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 It's all bubbling along nicely. Next Saturday - the day we knock that lot off top spot
roverandout Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 gray has been a cracking signing for burnley, 20 in 29 games now i think, probably a better player than rhodes
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 gray has been a cracking signing for burnley, 20 in 29 games now i think, probably a better player than rhodes He works harder and has a bit of pace about him.
koi Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 From what I've seen of Gray he's a better player than Rhodes and I'd say he can do okay in the prem, not something I'd be confident in predicting for Rhodes...
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 27, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted February 27, 2016 He's a big strong lad and has some pace, ideal for the prem.
danger19_80 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Shocking that an £11m striker isn't starting games in the Championship. Will he even play Tuesday?
Husky Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Shocking that an £11m striker isn't starting games in the Championship. Will he even play Tuesday? Perhaps they are saving him specifically for Tuesday.
Amo Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Shocking that an £11m striker isn't starting games in the Championship. Will he even play Tuesday? More shockingly, that Boro can get away with spending £11m+ on a glorified supersub. That FFP, eh? Gotta love it...
Husky Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 First time I've watched Channel 5 football for months. How long ago did they decide to get rid of the 'distracting background'? Back to Jordan Rhodes - I guess the Fulham player that got sent off was aware of his super pace....
bob fleming Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 He works harder and has a bit of pace about him. Kin ell. Go steady... Next you'll be saying Rhodes isn't the dogs. Not that you'll find boro fans complaining - and ever then - they'll just be haters of course He was that good, yet we didn't get promoted. Not even nearly. Rhodes to Boro = good business imo. When we win, obviously.
Josh Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 gray has been a cracking signing for burnley, 20 in 29 games now i think, probably a better player than rhodes No doubt he has done brilliantly, he was in Hanley's back pocket all game earlier this season though.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 No doubt he has done brilliantly, he was in Hanley's back pocket all game earlier this season though. Let's hope Hanley can repeat the treatment next week.
tomphil Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Got back to the local to find it taken over by a coach load of dingles. Gargrave Clarrots the flag in their coach said which just goes to show the size of their catchment area. Also confirms they're half a set of Yarkshire bandwagoners as first suspected.

Gargrave Clarrots the flag in their coach said which just goes to show the size of their (and rovers) catchment area. Also confirms they're half a set of Yarkshire bandwagoners as first suspected. Its like I said in those twitter pm's. Don't underestimate the lure to kids of a marketable name like Rovers compared to a name as "uncool" and "bland" as Burnley. Seriously Burnley (and other clubs with boring, depressive names like Barnsley) should consider changing their name to Burnley Clarets or something like that. As I've said before Rovers have by far the most marketable name in (modern day) Lancashire ahead of PNE (too regional), Blackpool (like Blackburn without the Rovers tag) and certainly Burnley. Don't underestimate the power of a better name. Not long ago I compared how much classier "Brockhall" sounds to "Brockhole" people pick up on that at least subconsciously. Then there's people like me who pick up on several things most (normal) people probably don't see lol. Don't think West Yorkshire is much of a potential catchment area at the moment though. Unless the club gets promoted.
