Hey Nobber, who's your 'other' team then? My experience of working in the 'flatlands' is that you all have a second team. Fingers crossed for you that Spuds can win the Premier League, then you can buy a sponsorless shirt next season and it will do for both your clubs ;-)

I go on Bamber Bridge now and again when nobbers ain't playing, suppose they're my second team. I'll be honest with you bud can't see them winning the Prem anytime soon though.

I don't mind contributors coming on from other clubs normally but when they come on here just to spout juvenile drivel they should be banned ASAP.

Yep, you and I both Tyrone, he was being a goon so he was culled! A bit harsher than usual, but sometimes we need to embrace the harsh :rover:

Exactly. I recently told off the LT twitter account for saying "Walker" in the headline about those bus renamings. Don't refer to Jack by his surname that's the rule. Obviously it would seem a bit strange to refer to him as "Mr Walker" now (as Peter White did in the LT...Mr Walker, Mr Fox, etc a touch of class that would seem foreign to Wheelock and besides half his articles seem to open with "Blackburn Rovers legend...insert name here") but I simply refer to him as Jack. He wanted people to generally call him by his first name anyway,

Birmingham lead against Hull, bugger want Hull to win to knock the dingles off top spot!

Big club win, I think that puts a bit more pressure on the dingles, nerves could kick in a little.

I wonder if Boro will bottle it tomorrow night

The only thing worse than Bumley going up would be Bumley going up as Champions.

You would have to say that they deserve it but they must be the luckiest team every when it comes to injuries/suspensions. They must have the fewest number of players used in the division.

We could do worse than to offer a massive wedge to their fitness and physio teams!

I quite enjoyed the Brum v Hull game last night, Hull were very unlucky not to be 2-1 up after 20 minutes after hitting the post and bar in quick succession. Donaldson also pulled off an outrageous overhead kick that was unlucky not to go in. Livermore looked like an absolute monster in midfield, you'd certainly feel it if he tackled you.

It's a bit like the Premier League- nobody seems to want to win it.

When I think how United dogged us every step of the way when we won it Leicester have had it easy. All three in the chasing pack lost last night !

The Mancs throwing it away on the last day made it even sweeter imo :rover:

Dont understand why Wolves manager Jackett didnt start with Joe Mason or Adam Le Fondre.

He just spent 3 mil on Mason but dont play him.

Can see a taxi coming for the Jackett shortly. Not done good enough this season. Should be in the top 6 this season

Think he's getting some unfair stick at Wolves. They probably overachieved last season after promotion from League One. Their squad is probably mid table after selling Afobe. They've also had boardroom issues with Morgan putting them up for sale at the start of the season.

Wolves have been mid table secure all season and are likely to stay there. Don't think that much more can be expected.

Afobe went to Bournemouth cos Wolves arent getting promotion.

Jackett has said hes after promotion. Said this on 19th Feb 2016.

Plus he has some good players there like Byrne, Mason, Le Fondre, Coady(signed for 2 mil), McDonald, Williamson, Bath. Plus Dicko aswell

If Wolves had kept hold of Afobe and Sako, as well as who they've currently got (Mason, Le Fondre, Dicko (injured I know), Williamson) then maybe they'd have finished top 6. Amazing how much two players, or even ONE! (Sako) can made a huge difference
