Rhodes looked awful but hey... He looked like that the majority of the time for us anyway so no surprise.

Another cracking game for him - still on as many yellows as goals 10 games in, the one he did get credited with was an oggy as well.

We don't look dead certain to get that £2m at the moment it looks like Burnley will come first and maybe second as well such is the pitiful showing of the rest of them

Aye but not as many reds and blanks in his last 38 like brown .

Not sure why people are delighting in Rhodes not doing well.

1 we need the 2 mill promotion bonus, an in form Rhodes helps that appear.

2 it doesn't negate his scoring record - an impressive record - with us.

3 he didn't sulk, run down his contract or stay for 1 season. Not sure what people can hold a grudge against him for. Given Gestede sulked loads and was here a much shorter time there's far less delight in his position with Villa despite him treating us worse.

Pretty petty Imo, trying to justify people not rating Rhodes. But given what he did for us and how he conducted himself by and large it's a poor do to revel in his struggles.

I know the season has trailed off but come on, we've better things to focus on.

Perhaps we can create a "We Hate Jordan Rhodes" topic and let the relevant posters do what they need to do in there, every time Boro play a game and JR fails to score? Would save this topic being spammed with the same old posts about him, at least.

We can perhaps merge it with the existing Rhodes thread after each game we don't score so both sides of the argument can fight it out, as it still isn't boring....

New owner bounce ? , hope it lasts a few more games :)

Strange that the Bolton players seemed to work their socks off during the dire times, but as soon as a little hope comes to the club they utterly capitulate. Losing 6-0 to Bristol City... puts our 3-0 loss to the MK Dons in the shade, to say the least.

Hard to believe Bolton have been in one of the top two tiers since 1993. After this season it may be a while before they have a taste of either again.
