Wasn't sure where to post this (Mods feel free to move it to another thread if you deem necessary).

Is there a list of how much cash each Championship team has invested in a promotion year, going back 4-5 years?

I realise that it's not a black and white question as some had better squads to begin with than others. I'm just curious.

Thanks.

How many teams get promoted when their top league goalscorer(s) has sub 10 goals? (That's extrapolating it over the rest of the season, as our top scorer at the moment has a grand total of 3)

I'm sure you could have found that out without posting on here, seems a bit strange tbh...

Sergei; I'm afraid I've no idea, your royal loveliness.

Madame: Could you maybe ask those oiks on that football message thingy?

Has you say it depends on the level of a squad prior to transfers in a particular season and also on quality of loans (hence wages), but as a quick exercise here are some rough figures from the last three seasons (from stats on transfermarkt.co.uk) what teams promoted spent/received in transfer fees in that particular season. Squads for that season in links

2014/15
Bournemouth
Spent 3.26 M Received 2.78m
Norwich
15.26 M 14.5 M
Watford
750k 413K
2013/14
Leicester
375K 863K
QPR
8.87M 11.29M
Dingles

2012/13

While your at it Sergie, and just to be thorough you should also research what equivalent teams spent (or didn't spend) in a relegation season.

Unfortunately there is no template or guarantees of success. Venkys need to trust Lamberts football expertise and back him. Simple as that.

The other potential outcomes if they don't back Lambert all involve disaster.

You also have to factor in that several of those teams will have just come down from the PL would have strong squads to start off.

True but have you ever watched them on tv and thought "They were the better side there".

You can't fault the organisation and team spirit that the Chief Ginger Dingle gets them playing with, but how many times would Wood miss both of those headers usually!

Just shows what a poor Division this is. They're running away with it and they haven't played well for months !

Certainly someone to consider when/if Lambert walks.

I would be consider Karl Robinson if Lambert isnt manager here come the Summer.

Other people to consider are Gary Monk, Alan Irvine, Derek McInnes, Alex McLeish, Chris Coleman.

Really hope that Lambert will be manager here come the summer and for the next 2 years
