Burnley play Middlesbrough next Tuesday in what is a massive game for automatic promotion. By the time Burnley kick off on Saturday they could be out of the automatic promotion places as Brighton play on Friday and Middlesbrough kick off at 12.30.

Them missing out on promotion would make this season a little more bearable.

The fact that it is Boro V Brighton last game is a real bonus for that lot, as one of both are obviously dropping points.

Depending on how results go between now and then, that fixture could be the Dingles worst nightmare, as I think blue kiwi is alluding to above.

Imagine if Burnley are 3 points behind the pair of them going into the last game.........

The difference between the top three is when playing poor Burnley and Brighton somehow get a result Boro don't.. Boro now got a couple of games where obviously on paper they shouldn't slip up but football isn't played on paper

Can see it going down to the wire

Middlesbrough play Reading at home tonight in their game in hand. Fingers crossed that they continue their good recent form against a struggling Reading side who are poor travellers. Win it and they are in the driving seat at the top.

We need to hope that Burnley drop 4 points or more from their remaining games whilst Brighton and Middlesbrough win them all going into their final match against each other, that way it is out of Burnley's hands and Brighton and Boro can mess about to secure the point they each need on the final day to guarantee promotion. If only Brighton had held on for another minute last week it would be looking very dodgy indeed for t'clarets.

Aye, Joey Barton shouldn't have even been on the pitch either, and there's been no retropsective action taken there.....

As much as I don't like to admit it, I think the Dingles will win all their remaining games (bar the Middlesbrough game), but 'Boro will end up Champions.

It would be like Manure v Rovers a few years ago!

Last time Boro had a couple of games to take charge at the top they slipped up in both games let's hope they don't this time.

Still think Burnley will go up due to the fact they continue to play bad and win, if there was ever time for a Rhodes goal it would be next Tuesday though!

Burnley's luck will run out and they'll come third and get dicked by Derby in the playoffs.

As much as I'd love that to be the case, I can't see it personally.....

Doubt it, seems like all they have to do is show up and they win. Couple that with some blind refereeing and lady luck who seems to be a season ticket holder there and they are Premier League bound.

Yes, the chain of events is starting to unfold.

Boro win tonight followed by a Brighton win on Friday leaving Burnley to scrape a point at big club on Saturday.

Tuesday will see more dropped points versus Boro at home while Brighton bag a comfortable home win. The weekend then brings a tough away trip to nob end when more points will be dropped. Enjoy!!!
