Not getting into a Rhodes debate but thats what he does, scores goals, simple as that.

We'd have been higher up the table had he stayed, we're a worse side without out him.

Glad for him, a true pro, a credit to his profession.

Spot on GAV. Over to the nut jobs who both own our club and somehow passed the fit and proper test..explain that one.

Oh, I forgot, communication isn't on the agenda, is it?

Leeds have announced their season ticket deals for next season.

Prices frozen for the 3rd year running.

25% money back if they don't achieve the play-offs next season.

50% money back if they don't achieve play offs and more than 15,000 sign up.

Following in the footsteps of Huddersfield and Bradford last season offering impressive sweetners to boost numbers.

More likely than not to get some money back. Better than our Premier League pledge really.

With Brighton having to play Boro on the last day I think that goal just about takes them up, hopefully Preston can do everyone a favour on Friday

Massive, massive goal. Sorry to have to say it but good teams have the mental toughness to pull the fat out of the fire at the end of the game. It's that mentality more than ability that's got them where they are now.

A loss would have piled the pressure on them going into Friday - as it is now they can go there knowing they end the night in the top two and go top and put the pressure on Boro

Vital goal for Burnley but whilst they are resolute, from looking home and hosed a few weeks ago the wins appear to have dried up completely for them and they won't go up automatically if they draw their remaining games.

They remind me a bit of Rovers in Howard Kendall's second season when we came up slightly shy.

A particularly obnoxious and arrogant Bumley fan I know reckons they will walk the play-offs even if they don't finish in the top two. If they finish 3rd they won't go up in my opinion. It will be very, very hard for Whichever team that finishes 3rd and therefore misses out on automatic promotion by a whisker to raise themselves for the play-offs having been so close to promotion. It's happened plenty of times in these circumstances where a 3rd place team just missing out on automatic promotion have not even got past the two-legged part of the play-offs. It's different if the 3rd place team finishes well-behind 2nd place, but in Bumleys case having been in the top two for so long and looking like they were going up as champions a few weeks back, the disappointment would be huge.

As much as I don't like to admit it, I think they'll get automatic promotion. Particularly when you consider that Brighton and 'Boro play each other the last game of the season. Just hope it isn't as Champions, it means they're getting one closer to our trophy haul! :rover:
