Flurry of bookings towards the end of that half.

Nob-rot Barton managed to clatter late into a PNE guy in mid air early in the game and get him taken off injured. No yellow card for the 6 fingered tweet freak as usual.

It's scandalous what Barton gets away with. A few games ago he purposely stamped on a player and then followed it up with an elbow and remained on the pitch. Gutter dog.

Gallagher doesn't look half the player he did against us sadly just had a great chance to drive into the box and played s really poor ball

He got a lot of credit on here after that game - probably too much. He clearly had a point to prove and turned it on. It meant a lot to him, I'm sure. This time of year we see more and more dead rubber matches as those teams/players with neither promotion, relegation, or a new contracts on their mind are already on their jollies (in their heads).

Can't stand them obviously, but they've got that knack of winning games when it matters. Still think they'll go up automatically, just hope 'Boro win the league rather than them, could do with them staying a bit further behind our trophy advantage! The only advantage we have over them these days....

nothing to play for but pne look like a bottom 3 team. very unimpressive against our 10 as well.

been said before but burnley are just fit and well organised.so frustrating we can't compete with this ordinariness.

ps may have missed this before but does gumboots gave questionable taste in men?

Why do you ask that?

This is one of the worst seasons ever. We could easily spend the next 10 years in the shadow of a tinpot club just because they got lucky and some idiotic Watford owner sacked Dyche.

No flair, no skill, not even a good team, they just grind out results and have got in the habit of winning. Their injury record must be the best in the football league, and one of only two teams in the Championship without a single red card, despite having one of the dirtiest players in the league (who gets away with murder). They'll probably win the fair play award as well as promotion, with Dyche winning Manager of the Season.

Burnley are everything we are not at the moment - a well run club, a manager who knows how to get the best out of the players he has available, and a squad of players who are prepared to work their socks off for the club. Rovers and Burnley have had spells when each has been the dominant force and, sadly, it seems as if the pendulum is swinging again in favour of our neighbours at the Turf.

Same in Accy Gumboots. The amount of Burnley fans crawling out from their rocks is unreal.

This is exactly the problem with Sky Sports Premier League. (Let's not pretend anymore that there is any other chief sponsor).

All the plastics trap up when the going is good and disappear when the club needs them. Yet they leave it to others to prop up the club during the lean times.

If we had 11 Keith Andrews on the pitch we would not be were we are now always gave 100%.

Hmm, I can remember him ducking out of a challenge or two tbh....
