RibbleValleyRover Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Dyche is a bloody good manager, I get the impression the players would run through a brick wall for him. Burnley so hard to break down and beat.
LewisF Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 stuff burnleyi can't be doing with saying fair play to them. Dingles
Waggy76 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Dyche is a bloody good manager, I get the impression the players would run through a brick wall for him. Burnley so hard to break down and beat. You are right ,an excellent manager ....His problem will be when to jump ship !
RevidgeBlue Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 No point in being all sour grapes about it, as much as it sticks in the craw it's a fantastic achievement by them. Hopefully the directors will pocket the money and they'll come back down again but the money in the Prem is now so much more there's no reason why they shouldn't throw a bit of cash at it this time round. We can forget about competing with them on an equal footing for a while but far more important to concentrate on getting our own house in order first than worrying about anyone else.
Stuart Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Sickening scenes. Can't and won't wish them well. I wish them a speedy relegation and humiliation along the way. Must be the worst team to get promoted from this league and yet they are effective. The only good thing will be that we don't have to face them next season. It's moments like this that make me hate Venkys even more than usual. The contrast between the fortunes of both sets of fans could not be more stark. They haven't mentioned Rovers once (not that they made much noise at all) preferring to concentrate their jibes at Boro. Says it all. Boro now have to avoid defeat, whereas Brighton must win - you just know what's going to happen.
ABBEY Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 i can't be doing with saying fair play to them. Dingles me neither f em ,f there fans and f their poxy wooden seats. cant believe anyoone on here would torture themselves by watching them.
RibbleValleyRover Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I think they are certs to get relegated and I don't think they care. The parachute payments alone make it worth it. It says a lot that they have been in the Premier League twice and we haven't even sniffed a playoff spot since we went down. They are a better run club in all areas than us by a country mile. The truth hurts.

Stuart Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 As much as I hate Bumley. That Dyche is a class above. Still makes me sick.
A cup of beans Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Anyone wishing them well... The rivalry mustn't mean enough or affect them. In my opinion.
Stuart Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Knowing the way this season has gone, Brighton will beat Boro and they'll be crowning Bumley champions next Saturday, just as bloody Venkys announce that Rovers are in administration.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 2, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted May 2, 2016 What a crap day and season. As much as it stings, we need to worry about ourselves now, and at least we won't get beaten off them twice again next season. There's no point whingeing about their style of football IMO it just comes across as sour grapes IMO. If we won 1-0 every week like that, I wouldn't care. We've had years of lording it up over them, we just knew that when their day came they would give it us back two fold. That's life, that's football. And it's absolutely painful at the minute. Feck 'em.

Clitherover Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 The cherry on the top of the turd that has been another god awful season.

What house?? ours is now rubble ready to be turned into a chicken factory for them @#/?s across the water
RevidgeBlue Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Anyone wishing them well... The rivalry mustn't mean enough or affect them. In my opinion. No-one's wishing them well surely........... I hope they come back down next season with ten points. Can't see the harm in acknowledging it's an excellent achievement by them after the event though. Nothing left for this abhorrence of a season but to hope Boro squeak up then the crap deal we negotiated for Rhodes doesn't get any worse.
Parsonblue Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Very pleased for my Burnley supporting friends who will have had a great day at the Turf - how I envy them. They have a well run club, a good manager, a decent group of players and, having posted a £30 million profit this year are going from strength to strength in terms of finances. Sadly, the wheel has turned full circle and we are now the poor relations. Unbeaten since the turn of the year means they fully deserve their promotion.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Knowing the way this season has gone, Brighton will beat Boro and they'll be crowning Bumley champions next Saturday, just as bloody Venkys announce that Rovers are in administration. This. Our biggest concern will be if we still have a club to support next season.
oldjamfan1 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Maybe I've just missed the relevant games but that Andre Gray has looked pants to me every time I've seen him play this season.
