oldjamfan1 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Now I really, really want Leicester to win the league tonight so that Burnley get zero headlines in the press tomorrow.
A cup of beans Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Very pleased for my Burnley supporting friends who will have had a great day at the Turf - how I envy them. They have a well run club, a good manager, a decent group of players and, having posted a £30 million profit this year are going from strength to strength in terms of finances. Sadly, the wheel has turned full circle and we are now the poor relations. Unbeaten since the turn of the year means they fully deserve their promotion. Speechless. And I've got Burnley fanatics as friends. How do you think their fans reacted to us, 2 mins on one of their poxy messageboards will show you. My mates hate Rovers and are revelling in taking the p.iss. Much as I was in 1987.
LDRover Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Maybe I've just missed the relevant games but that Andre Gray has looked pants to me every time I've seen him play this season. Got sod all to his game apart from pace. Defend deep and he's completely nullified...and he's as thick as a whale omelette.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 The two clubs are now miles apart on so many levels. Just compounds what those Pune Ham Shankers have done with their wrecking Ball....and no,they haven't stopped yet folks!!
BlooBoy Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Anyone wishing them well... The rivalry mustn't mean enough or affect them. In my opinion. No one is wishing them well from what i read.Burnley will always be Burnley. What people are saying in a level headed way is credit where credit is due ..they ve done the business ..end of. Remember the yelling and crying they did ..bought the title..lucky cnuts ..Utd blew it ..dont start to sound like them ffs...
Riverside67 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Well I am not going to be churlish and not say well done because they have done a fantastic job. They have unearthed a great manager who we could only dream of getting now. It puts into stark relief what a properly run football club can achieve compared to the idiotic self destruction of our owners. It will be many many years before we will play them again never mind beat them What fools our owners are. They have thrown a precious thing away and humiliated us all along the way. The irony of today is that the reinforcement of their incompetence cannot be in greater contrast to a correctly administered football club. There it is before their eyes nine miles down the road how to run a club. Will they have the humility to accept that and put a proper structure in place. Will they hell and their arrogance will lead to even more stupidity in the years to come. This farce is a long way from finished yet.
den Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 My Mrs says I should be happy for them. Wish I was as nice as her.
Parsonblue Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Speechless. And I've got Burnley fanatics as friends. How do you think their fans reacted to us, 2 mins on one of their poxy messageboards will show you. My mates hate Rovers and are revelling in taking the p.iss. Much as I was in 1987. I'm old enough to remember when Burnley and Rovers games were keenly fought but friendly derby matches. When Rovers fans and Burnley fans stood side by side, watching the game, having friendly banter and mixing without any problems. Hence I've never had any hatred towards Burnley. Good luck to them. They are everything we aren't at the moment.
RibbleValleyRover Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I don't see anyone wishing them well just an acceptance that they have done a good job there and at the same time how far we have fallen.
Waggy76 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Knowing the way this season has gone, Brighton will beat Boro and they'll be crowning Bumley champions next Saturday, just as bloody Venkys announce that Rovers are in administration. Actually , I would welcome the latter !
davulsukur Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 What an absolutely abysmal season. In recent times, is only been topped by our relegation from the premier league (in my opinion) I f***ing hate Dingles.
LewisF Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Actually , I would welcome the latter !if it means getting rid of venkys, definitely
ABBEY Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Speechless. And I've got Burnley fanatics as friends. How do you think their fans reacted to us, 2 mins on one of their poxy messageboards will show you. Proudtobeblue&white Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Feckin hate the *ankers that have destroyed us. Can't bare the fact they are now better run than us. Can't bare the fact that they play a strange game with us. Can't feckin bare Loons or Dingles. I will be there Saturday shouting loud & proud Venkys OUT!
LewisF Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 My next door neighbour 'supports' rochdale, man utd, and burnley. He's nosy as and often invites himself into our garden. He's rather peculiar.
oldjamfan1 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I've just turned on the snooker and because I'm dyslexic, the players names look like Bye Dingles. I hate fooking football.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 My next door neighbour 'supports' rochdale, man utd, and burnley. He's nosy as and often invites himself into our garden. He's rather peculiar. You need to move house, or better still have him evicted?
Backroom DE. Posted May 2, 2016 Backroom Posted May 2, 2016 Well, at least we won't get hammered by them next season. If we hadn't gifted them six points this season they'd be contesting the playoffs instead.

roverandout Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Or taking a big @#/? in his garden, tell him it will remind him of turd moor

Add onto that gawthorpe will match any facility in the country in the not too distant future It really has gone full circle
Proudtobeblue&white Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Feck em, let's hope relegation beckons, no time to be congratulating them, need to concentrate on the one club that matters, and get rid of the scum.
