Well....an ITK poster on a Wednesday forum posted two days back that they could expect a MASSIVE signing this week... He supposedly got the info from the "horse's mouth" and their owners are ready to spend 10 million pounds on a striker.... He might as well have been spouting nonsense but then again I wouldn't be surprised if they went in for rhodes..

Again a wind up no way is JR going to another championship club, one by the way that has pretty crap training facilities, it would be like going from a Rolls Royce training ground to a Chinese back street shop. Still you get a reaction so fair do's.

C'mon, even then the board/shelfy knew FFP was on the way, so if they idn't pocket then i see no reason to pocket a lot less as you suggest now, oh and again JR scored 20 in a season despite Bowyers attempts at putting him on the subs bench, meaning his value is still very high despite what you and some other posters think.

I don't know how that would work out for them with ffp and I admit it might just be a rumor but I've resigned myself into thinking the owners are going to green light every half decent offer that comes in.

Do you mean like Jack did when he took over, to make a statement, well that could be true, but as i see it JR has some say, lets just suppose they did bid 10m we say 12m they say yes, BUT JR says sorry i don't want to go, he has a good contract with us so he can not really be forced out, imagine the fans, well i would go ape @#/? myself, team GB would be in tatters imagine the abuse he would get.

Believe this. Recon he knows he's on a good number here at Rovers. On a fair wedge, fans love him, scoring goals and I think knows that this is his level. He wouldn't want to go Wednesday, they wouldn't pay what he's on here and would be total sidestep. Only way would be if the club accept an offer and i don't think anyone will offer what we want.

Me to, he genuinely likes the club I believe and there are tens of thousands of reasons he's happy to plod on here for now. Said it before no championship club will come up with the wages he's on here and you'd think he'd have to be really interested in moving before he'd take such a cut.

I dont see Rhodes leaving Rovers this summer. Cos the price will be far too much for teams to pay and take a risk on.

We turned down Hull's bid and Boro's loan bid last season. Also turn bids down for Gestede(twice) in the last 6/7 months
