The confusing bit about this is, that Furman is more of an attack minded midfielder or a proper box to box player.

Petshi is more a defensive midfielder, while we still have Williamson, Evans and Lowe in a similar role. Having lost an attacking midfielder in Cairney, I'm not understanding this at all. Furman did well and scored, but the discussions before should have been are you willing to play for 10k or a less a week? If he said no, then forget the trial and move on. Something not right about this

Talked to a friend in france. Said he has seen him play and describe him as an unselfish teamplayer with pace and good with his head. He played on both wings and in attack for Caen. But mainly on right wing. Played for u21 France national team and could be a hit here.

meaning- the two we signed where the cheapest OR the two we didn't sign where asking for to much

(its however you want to look at it)

p.s. when did Blurs bassist/part time cheese maker become a sports writer.

diferance is (imo) the 3 you have mentioned do play in that position but lowe cant/wont tackle, williamso cant tackle without getting booked or sent off in the process and Evans forgot how to play football completely last season(hope it comes back to him this year though, he could still be the box to box player we are screaming for) Where as with Petshi theres no mistaking his defensive attributes! and he gives us some actual height and aerial presence in midfield which is something none of our other midfielders offer at all.

I do believe willo and Lowe will start the season in the centre I have to admit. Be patient, it takes time for a partnership to click right, even seasons.

Time to remove this stinking clampet now. If ever a post outed a gimp that was it !

Nice to read positive comment..

Personally think it will be Lowe and Evans

My view is based on willo being our best central midfielder last season and Lowe being pretty much a shoe in under bowyer..

his posts(that ive seen) may be pretty naïve, but I haven't seen him say anything insulting to anybody.

No direct insults but the content of most of the posts are insulting the intelligence of people on here who watch the team.

Maybe, goal apart, Furman wasn't actually that good.

Sour grapes. Read between the lines - we couldn't convince them to sign for Bowyer 10k. Not when every other Championship club bar one can offer more.

The Championship must be in a fantastic state, by the way. Plenty of very healthy FUP-approved clubs around. Makes one wonder why the rule is even necessary. Oh yes, I remember, so jealous FL clubs can crucify ex PL regulars with PL infrastructures and bring them down to their level. In the interests of *cough* fairness.

 Aside from the obvious WUM-bait, how much time do you think Williamson has left?

Well I for one believe that Furman and coke just weren't up to it.. And I'm entitled to my view thanks very much..!

I'm sorry if some of my views wind you up. Get up and go and make a brew, sit back and chill for a while.. Jeez..

Look quite obvious signings to me. Petshi is young physical and destructive. Great cover in the 2 of a 4231.

Koita is Kings replacement quick winger / forward type. Will end the pursuit of Maguire sadly IMO.

Both players are young enough to have resale values if they do well.

My guess is that as things stand...they will go for cover for Marshall in that no.10 role - Kim

The signings will then be done for now with the possibs of more pending the sale of one or more of our coveted strikers and / or injuries.

Please don't respond to replies I make to someone else.

"Thanks very much".

Well next season at least..

Do you mean this season? Or 2016/17? I fear that he may well still be our best midfielder next season!
