Would be happy with Rodellega, good in the air, good technique, quick and can score goals... just think he needs a bit of guidance. Wanted him at Rovers for a while.

Having said that, the source is the same bloke talking about Marsh leaving for peanuts just days after coming out and stating he's staying here. Nixon hardly has his finger on the pulse these days.

I wouldn't be too disappointed if Marshall left and we doubled our money.

I found people on here to astound me when Cairney left but jesus christ...

Do people want no technique, passing, pace or goals in midfield or something? "Wouldn't be too disappointed" absolutely unbelievable. For a period last season he was BY FAR the best player in this league and you "wouldn't be too disappointed" if he left? Have you forgotten the free kicks he scored last season? The match winning performances? The crosses he put in for Gestede? He's currently the only player we posses who can turn defence into attack by beating a few on his own.

Whilst Conway was struggling on the bench for the first 1/3rd of the season Marsh was putting in the yards and playing well.

I know this message board is all about opinions but it don't half make you give your head a wobble at times.

Marshall cost £1m according to reports at the time. Selling him now for £1.2m is pure fantasy on Nixons/Brighton's part. He did more than Cairney last season and we got £3m+ for him and Marshall is the better player imo.

What's this message board coming too? I agree.

Ah, yes, Neal but you see Marshall is only a '1 in 3' player. Too inconsistent.

Let's pocket the cash and sign some freebie who can play '1 in 10' or in Brown's case... never in never.

Can't understand why ANY fan is actually HAPPY to see our better players sold . We can't replace with similar , the slum dogs have seen to that . The money received is like having a sneaky lash in the sea it blends into insignificance . Even when we were loaded it riles when players are sold but hey ho the owners have brainwashed many

Exactly Neal. IF we sold Marshall then who the hell is replacing him? We cannot reinvest the money. I don't understand what some people cannot get their heads around.

As for Nixon. Marshall to Brighton? And he gets paid to write this rubbish.

We have to get our income up and outgoings down in order to get out of FFP. To be fair I haven't seen

that much of Marshall but what I did see was in Jan/February when the team wasn't playing particularly well and Cairney, Marshall and Conway were all scratching around for form after making favourable early impressions. Out of the three only Conway looked to have the attitude of a player who was going to try to influence the game and not hide despite struggling. His reward was a belting goal against Rotherham. The lads I go to games with were 60/40 against Cairney and Marshall. The consensus was that both are talented but lack the determination to perform adequately on a regular basis or battle through dips in form. Given that and patchy performances over the last couple of seasons, a 100% profit on Marshall and the same with Cairney represents good business and, hopefully, gives us a bit of room to manoeuvre out of the strictures of FFP.

I wouldn't be too disappointed if Marshall left and we doubled our money. I don't see how Brighton would get their hands on that type of brass though. I'd be more concerned if we lost Conway so I'm glad the Wolves rumours came to nought and he has said he wants to stay.

Chris are you mad? To much Amber nectar?

We can't reinvest that money we'd get for Marshall, only way to replace him is free transfers and other sides cast offs for under 10k a week!

I'm past worrying about the owners

I am of he opinion that the owners once they got wise to kean and Anderson they have just been keeping their heads down and trying to run things like a legit business until the most viable point they can let go .

They don't have the sport interest or vested interest that we as fans do

Not really the right thread but still pretty much nail on the head for me.

Think the writing is on the wall.

If a player will bring in decent cash then they will be off. I expect Marshall will be offski - not buying all this 'happy where I am stuff', as most players with a modicum of intelligence will trot it out.

As for Rodellega, in our circumstances would be a good signing, however, as the Maguire episode illustrates, it seems as though Pune are reluctant to commit to any new signings - that tells you all you need to know.

Those 2 rats left 3yrs ago, although Anderson is still involved in transfers.

Shebby Singh wasted millions.

We have no board room structure

100m in debt and climbing.

Under FFP without a peep out of Shaw to challenge this.

Yet you think they're just keeping their heads down?

What's it going to take for people to remove there heads from there arses?

Is Anderson still involved in transfers? Not having a pop at you Gav but how do we know this? I'd be absolutely @#/? amazed if Venkys had anything to do with him again.

Not having a go here but if you had then you'd know that on his day he's the best winger in this league hence why clubs like Derby, West Brom and Norwich are apparently interested. If Cairney is worth 3 million then Marsh is worth 5. Also, take into account that Marshall is about 6 years younger than Conway so on that basis alone he would be a bigger loss.

What's the actual deal with McGuire

There isn't one.

What does Best being paid a substantial amount of money for the remainder of his contract tell you about Pune and their intentions?

It tells me that they are not going away any time soon.

Sorry Chris I should have said we're still open to doing business with his company.

If the frustration/fall out had been on the scale some would have us believe, surely theyd rule out working with that lot.

Bit agressive

If all of the above had happened to me I'd be keeping my. Head down, it's pretty embarrassing

FFs Imy, how long have you been on here? You should know by now that Miseryman does not take logic into account or let it deflect him from his agenda whilst posting his b0ll0x.

Again spoken as someone who can't watch the team regularly. If it wasn't for Marshalls form first 3rd of last season we'd have been lucky to finish midtable. The one and only real genuine quality player we have aside from the front 2, twice the player TC ever was. Yes inconsistent, most of them are but I doubt we pick up anyone as good as him on a free. He can finish as well so maybe he can do a job up front if needed. I'd set the bar at 4mill for him because that's what he's worth to us in the current climate.
