Backroom Tom Posted July 11, 2015 Backroom Posted July 11, 2015 Got my boys shirt today, not keen on spending £50 on a football kit for a 4 year old but I'm a sucker for sentiment and he likes to have one with his age on. The kit itself is lovely although I've actually grown quite fond of last seasons.

windymiller7 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Ok, having searched around, I can't see any evidence of Villa's shirt last season being available without a sponsor so not sure why ours is. Just looking on the club website, are all the kids shirts sponsorless or just the smaller sizes? The picture on the website only shows the Dafabet logo on the adult shirt. If so, can you have the sponsor put on in the shop? I know people on here like the ones without, however I just know what the first words out of my daughters mouth will be if If there's none on hers - "That's not a proper one Dad, that's not the same as Jordan Rhodes wears!" I'm sure you catch my drift! Answers on a postcard please. (Or just hit 'post')
Don Said Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Kids sizes without due to gambling advertising regulations.
windymiller7 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Oh Joy! That's me getting earache then! Thanks for the reply Sedman.

Wait a few weeks and it won't be an issue.

EgyptianPete Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 so if i say im a kid, and want an adult size shirt due to my height, can i get it without the logo? They are very nice shirts, got mine on Saturday, £50 a bit steep though, should be £40 tops.

Commondore Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Could someone please give an estimation of how "big" the sizes are for the home shirt available through onerovers.co.uk? I'm usually an XL, but football shirts tend to be quite large in size and I can't find a proper size guide on the home page.

Cocker Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Still wondering about this, any help would be greatly appreciated. If you remember the year where we had the shirt with no sponsor I bought an XL one of those. I have lost a little bit of weight since then and this year I bought a Large one which fits perfectly. I would say if you bought the XL the same year as I did without the sponsor then get an XL again. On saying that the new one feels like a better cut to me. No idea as I refuse to buy until venkys leave I think you are shooting yourself in the foot there Abbey. I am so pleased with the home shirt this year that I am buying a second for when the first one gets a bit tatty. Its not often I buy a shirt because I want to and not because I feel I have to.
ABBEY Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Principles pal. Used to spend loads especially at Christmas but I buy match tickets and that's all . I refuse to endorse anything else venkys .i don't buy anything in the ground either.
Backroom Madon Posted September 8, 2015 Backroom Posted September 8, 2015 I'm an XL and bought my Rovers shirt as XL, it's a good fit! Love this years shirt, my favourite since the black and red halves.
Iceman Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 They are very nice shirts, got mine on Saturday, £50 a bit steep though, should be £40 tops. its 65 pounds for me, incl shipping. Its pretty nice the kit this season, but if only the football were as good. I think ill wait on end of season, and pick up one at hopefully a cheaper reduced price. although i think its either smaller or the really big sizes that are left standing
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 8, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted September 8, 2015 Football shirts, like computer games should never have gone beyond the £40 treshold imo. £50 is taking the proverbial.

Commondore Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Thanks for the clarifications. And yes, they are ridiculously expensive.
Amo Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Still wondering about this, any help would be greatly appreciated. Lay off the pies?
