It's a fair point. I can't imagine they said that and the Trust went for it, so either Venkys never brought it up, or the Trust and Venkys never met. Anybody know/remember whether they did?

Something that occurs to me, a distant memory...wasn't there a cast-iron agreement on things Venkys would and wouldn't do with the club, as a condition of sale?
