Ummmm.....

I wouldn't dream of running in the pitch, its against the law you know, you could get a ban, a fine, wouldn't want that would we.

You shouldn't be making such suggestions BlooBoy, shelfy will be after you, he's got **** all else to do :tu:

Well if you don't go BlooBoy you can't get on the pitch, but I hear it's much easier on a non match day, maybe try that first.

63 posts in and you're sick of reading about those that do? are you sure you're on the right site? maybe you've been in the Bpool site and logged in here by mistake?

I don't condone pitch invasions or anything of that nature, just so we're clear :tu:

There is no excuse whatsoever for a club like us to go into the season with such a threadbare squad FFP or no FFP. How many keepers are we needlessly carrying FFS! If we end up losing 1 or both of the strikers through transfer or even injury and go into the season as we are then struggle I don't think there will be a problem organising some form of protest then.

Of course it's too late but that's where we are at. I think if we follow the Blackpool route then there is still enough fire in the belly from a few to do what they've done. One massive problem, our owners don't live in the Ribble Valley. Deggsy does though............

A few of us a angry now, I want to try and make a statement, but the desire from the bulk of the main support just isn't there.

But as you rightly point out tomphil, if we start of the season badly, for whatever reason, I'd hope they'll be queuing up to take a swipe at Shaw and Venkys.

Before anyone says it, whilst I want these idiots out of the club I NEVER want us to get beat, well maybe once or twice under that bold drunk :tu: but you get my drift.

Where are the (non) action group that's what I'd like to know ? Alright some might not want protests now or pitch invasions but surely with situation at the club getting worse there should be a few ideas floating about.

Just some three weeks to go before the start of the season and our co-called owners are nowhere to been seen or heard....quite frankly speaking they are worse than absolutely f'kin useless.

No other club in the UK has such a bunch of blitherers running it and that includes that lot at Blackpool!!

It's that bad, never known a situation like this at Ewood, unprecedented,it really is. :glare:

Your left asking yourself how the hell has it come to this.

The Walker years were truly magnificent, beyond belief, but did it also install an apathetic 'everything on a plate' mentality in many of our lot?....

No it bloody didnt , the owners in the pre Walkers days gave a @#/? , these slumdogs dont and will never ....

Maybe so , ask yourself why ?

Not Bancroft ,Keighley , Ibbotson,Fox or Walker'S fault is it ?

I've posted in the wrong thread (about formations ffs) tonight. Having had the privilege to have met Ibbotson and Fox I know damn well all of this would never have happened - quietly anyway. Proper Rovers - all of them.

Somebody asked 'Who would buy Rovers?' in the Transfer thread. It got me wondering... Would a younger Uncle Jack have bought Rovers in this situation? I'm interested to know what others think.

You know what Phil, I'm 99% sure we'll find a buyer if this lot sod off, history tells us that clubs like ours simply don't go to the wall.

The ones saying we're doomed if Venkys leave are living on another planet, because we're doomed if they stay, it cannot get any better, they're not capable and now their finances are worthless with FFP.

Sorry Ive not answered your question, but I will now, If I had the money I'd buy the club tomorrow, so I guess that answers your question.

Don't think that figure is right. I think most of our fans are worried - there are just differing views on what to do for the best.

I think that is a good point.

Firstly, there needs to be a shared analysis of the problem. Right now, there is not. Even yesterday, I overheard someone saying Venky's were " naive"!

Once there is a shared analysis, there needs to be an agreed solution.

If, indeed, that solution is protest, there should to be a range of actions to which fans can contribute.

With the poll tax protests in the 80's I seem to remember a civil disobedience approach, where some took it as far as the the red letter, some the first court appearance, some were prepared to go to prison, while others did "serious" street protests etc.

Before any local Thatcher fan jumps down my throat, my point is that a protest movement would have to be as inclusive as possible, in order to keep the greatest number of fans on board.

I emailed Alan Myers last week asking if Venkys had any plans to speak to fans, statement video message etc. To be fair to the guy he did responded he said they had no plans to they remain committed to the club etc if they change there mind they would put some content out. He did also state ST tickets sales where up on last year which was a bit of a surprise.

ST sales are following a slightly different timeline to last year though. Be amazed if they end up bigger than last season infact I'd be amazed if they end up like for like. Hope they do.

If where ever seriously looking for a new club owner I Wonder if theses chaps are Rovers fans(I very much doubt they are though) http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/13476502.EURO_STARS__Blackburn_brothers__petrol_station_empire_to_double_after_major_takeover_deal/

the Issa brothers are already raking in serious money it seems and it now looks like they could easily double their income in the future
