The big news out of Ewood is already in the Bowyer thread!

Everyone's happy with Gary. Venkys, the Fans and most importantly other Managers are all pleased with ''how we’re going about it''...............well I wish someone would tell me.

Note to Venkys/Bowyer/Shaw/Myers: Do not treat me like an idiot, feck off and close the door behind you.

The club seems to be poisoned to the core

It isn't. There are still plenty of good people at Ewood. People like Stuart Caley.

It's just those that head the major departments that need removing. Incompetents like Shaw. Fools like Myers. And nice guys who just aren't quite good enough like Bowyer.

It won't take much personnel change put the club back on the right track. Sadly the one massive hurdle is removing the scum fkrs in India

It's "Mercerman says Rhodes leaves in the next transfer window" NIL

playing

"Rhodes is still here" SEVEN

So forgive me for questioning your not unrealistic bullshite strategy-based lets get this straight face-saving exit from what you previously stated.

It's all complete rubbish.

mm has got a lot wrong but he did not start the " big announcement tomorrow" so why get on his back about it. He simply said what he thought could happen and made it clear that was just speculation about possibilities on his part. I don't usually defend him but he doesn't deserve the criticism here. And I don't expect anything to happen although I'll be back and forth all day checking I don't miss any announcement. As has been said, it's the hope that kills you

Sorry, "Nice guys", like Bowyer?

His true colours are now firmly on show.

The cretin Kean's comments when we were relegated, were " sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward". That was despite him saying "There is no way we will be relegated" earlier in the season. I hope we don't go down again with comments similar t that coming from Bowyer. This is beginning to have all the hallmarks of that season.

looks like that was the big announcement that all is well in Venky land in the LT. Really wouldn't be surprised if one of the syncophants at Ewood was putting it about knowing that's all it would be. Probably making up their own announcements anyway as that was clearly lifted from the FF thing and if the Loons hadn't been in touch for 3 weeks then why all of a sudden now ?

I found it insulting to fans in the extreme and I'm sure some at the LT are on a wind up because if they don't know that's likely to cause offence then they are as deluded as the owners. Sorry folks but that's as Keanesque as we've had so far, I think we know what route we are going down here again.

The Telegraph love to stir it up.

If they put a controversial story up then more and more people head to their website to air their grievances in the comment section and the Telegraph make more money through hits and advertising.

Also that they have a Claret writing Rovers stories whilst the regular bloke is on his holidays.

Sometimes I really do wonder what has become of this club when the former Premier League champions only local newspaper reporter is a Burnley fan.

I'm holding the paper accountable for that tripe as well for sure. Like someone else mentioned the feeble line of questioning that goes on from them and Radio Lancs is pathetic, every question is worded in a way that gives the manager an immediate outlet and it's been like that for ages.

Having that six fingered one report on us is never going to help matters either and I hope Peter White haunts him at his bedside in a few nights time

The official pressers are a joke.

The club hide behind Dataco (the company charged with issuing press accreditation) who working under instruction not to issue press accreditation to sites like this, even though we are a genuine outlet of Rovers news and comment, some would say our Rovers coverage (match reports etc) are read as widely as that of the LT. The reason they won't let sites like ours into Pressers is simply because we will ask the questions that other outlets won't.

If there was something huge like a sale of the club happening it would have leaked out both from Ewood and certainly from Pune, nothing has leaked out so I would very much doubt that there is some huge announcement coming today.

Is there any more news on the owners pulling the plug in May, Kamy?

I remember my daughter being amazed when she went to her first presser how limited it was. Think it was at city when Ericsson was manager and the level of sycophancy was amazing, from those who were there, and lots of valid reporting outlets werent even there.

Thanks for sharing your info.

Firstly, didn't Shaw, Bowyer and Myers said that some of Venkys Advisors have been over recent weeks at Ewood Park/Brockhall? could this be looking at things and the financial accounts?

Secondly, I have been saying on twitter in the last couple of days that the fans need a major lift and the ONLY way this is new owners and new start. Hopefully Venkys are selling to Ian Battersby/Ian Currie. This would give us the Local owners we need. If they are from overseas then I hope we get owners with a sports ownership background.

I don't think a new manager would give us a major lift that the fans/club needs.

If we get new owners then hopefully we get a new CEO in and he will have a footballing background.

Can you please explain where you heard this and do you trust the source?

did you think that Ian Battersby/Ian Currie would be interested in buying the club?

Well we can only live in hope!!

I think we can say for certain that those 2 very much know what they are about in a business sense and are most likely the two people with Rovers blood in their veins , who have the capability and financial nous to navigate a pathway through all this professionally in a way that would help Venkys exit the building in the right way.

Its scary really that you have them in the wings at the same time as the club is being run into the ground by complete muppets.

I cannot help but wonder what might have happened if those two had gone on the Board at the time when it was rumoured after they went to India. I cant think they would have let it end up like this and had Venkys done that back then , we could even be talking about them as good owners because I am positive the finances would have been proper and as fans we would at least feel like it was our Club.

Makes me want to cry every time I see or hear anything about that Club and those running it.

So how can you personally change this situation ?

Surely, it's about making life as uncomfortable as possible for the morons who run the club and the sheep (LT & Radio Lancs) who kowtow.

I understand you are an accredited journalist so it's about time you dug deep into your box of tricks and started stirring it up. I don't think you would lack support.

I am an accredited journalists and while I do some freelance sports reporting (mainly European football) for the PA, the bulk of my stuff is Video Games/Technology.

When we were in the Premier League the mainstream media outlets and newspapers were interested in pieces that examined what was going on at Rovers, now that we are not they have no real interest. The perception out there is that Rovers have crazy owners who have somewhat learnt their lesson and let the people who they have appointed run the club, the only time they have some mild interest in running a Rovers story is when the accounts come out and show the huge losses. I have done opinion pieces for BRFCS but outside our own fanbase they have very little impact.

I have been promised an interview with Gary at somepoint, initially they wanted the questions sent beforehand but now I am told that I can ask what I like, however it has been 3 weeks and not heard anything further.

Thats not entirely correct JH of the LT reporters, but you have to ask, how did an Evertonian get the job of reporting on Rovers over a local Rovers reporter when the position was up after Cryer left ?

lol I remember Cryer moaning on twitter how crap his beloved Brizzle were and how even with all the crap going on at Rovers it could be worse just look at them. A nice turnaround in that time whilst we've mostly done jack @#/? except hide behind excuses.

Always quite like Cotterill as well for some reason, even a dingle reject is now out of our reach though.
