AMAZING HOW WE CAN LOSE AGAINST DINGLES.NOBBERS, WE GOT HUMILATED ON NATIONAL TV IN THE BIGGEST CUP COMPETION WORLDWIDE AND LAMBART HAS TO RESORT TO CALLING THEM OUT ,YET THESE SO CALLED OWNERS HAVE NOT GOT THE DECENCY OR ANY RESPECT TO EVEN PUT SOME SORT OF STATEMENT OUT . THE ONLY THING VENKY HAS BEEN A CERTAIN SMALL FRY OF THEIR POSSE COMING ON HERE ONCE TO DISCUSS MERCHANDICE.

Not interested in a statement from a them as long as Lambert gets the news he needs to.

Let's be honest if they released a statement most would be irate about it. What could it even say?

After 5 years of crap I 'd be happy with Lambert saying he'd had a telephone conversation and he has a clear budget to work with.

I don't need to hear from Venky's, just to be assured that they are communicating with key people in the club.

Watching all this with renewed trepidation, I am coming to the conclusion that the opposite of leadership is disrespect.

The worst run football club in the country is perceived by many to be Aston Villa at this moment in time, but as I keep telling any Villa fan that will listen down here, they're a professional well run outfit compared to us.

The local news is awash with Villa unrest week after week and has been for the past 12 months, the fans have boycotted games on mass, told the players exactly what they think of them after the Wycombe defeat, targeting the absent owner week in week out and generally let it be known that they're not happy and will not stand for the continued mismanagement of the football club.

The fans actions has led to the owners creating new board members to deal with the day to day running of the club, Adrian Bevington, David Bernstein and Brian Little are charged with picking a new manager and improving Villas fortunes.

So this all begs the question why as a set of supporters are we just sat back watching Blackburn Rovers slowly die before our very eyes? Why don't people care enough to act? and I put me in this bracket also as I've given up the ghost if I'm honest.

As another director Myers, walks through the door with his BRAG comments about not being able to do his job and unable to stop the club dying he'd resign ringing in our ears, isn't it time to stop hoping Venkys will pull this around and start mobilising to get these 3 stooges removed from the club as soon as possible?

Or is it just not worth the effort, to much trouble, they'll not listen anyway, they're in Pune, we have better things to do?

The Villa fans thought it was worth it and they have absent owners :rock:

I don't have the answers, I don;t know how to get the message across, but what I do know is you need people willing to voice discontent and until we have that we have nothing.

Gav, there are 87 million reasons why protesting isn't an option right now IMO.

Unless they are going to write all that off, and hand the club to a suitable owner who can front losses - it would likely be out of the frying pan, into the furnace.

I know they put us here but things can still get worse.

Id counter that Gav, how long have Newcastle fans been protesting against Mike Ashley? A similarly pig-headed and single minded owner. He's not changed one bit.

I'm not saying that we don't need them gone, because ultimately we do, but we also need a plan in place for what happens when they do clear off!

There's been no sign of them for about 18 months now, meetings allegedly promised then cancelled stretching back to this time last year. Only the finance director having talks with their finance director and they have a business man on the ground now at Ewood costing everything up and reporting back (to who?) on a regular basis.

Throw in about 20 mill worth of player sales in the last 12 months. Then a new management team and a few loans which certainly wouldn't have happened if they thought we couldn't have a stab at the play offs. No sign of talks to keep these players nor sorting out a good budget for the new guys despite being out of embargo now. Directors, useless as they were, are leaving all of a sudden and the club is set to drift aimlessly again after a very brief flurry. Debts to owners over 100mill mark, external debt risen to 20 mill, parachutes over and nearly all players of any decent value sold. Only 1 mill of shares issued to parent company whereas before it was in blocks of about 15/20 mill.

Any non Rovers fan standing back and looking at that would probably only reach one conclusion, the exit door has been opened but they maybe haven't put a foot through it yet. As always it'll be because they are confused and at odds with each other how to go about it. Even if they are set to leave in Venky terms it'll take years to go through with it.

Unless they sort out the structure of the club giving PL money to spend on transfers would be chucking good money after bad. Without a proper structure within the club we are set up to fail and fail again. Only going 1 way I'm afriad as I don't believe that the Vs have any intention of doing anything other than putting the club in the hands of a go-between with no Ewood based management at all apart from PL running the team. Doomed i tell thi.

Lets face it if they were deadly serious about it they'd get the job done. They'd head hunt a decent guy and give him a budget. They just don't learn that in football fail to prepare, prepare to fail. It's that simple and if the penny hasn't dropped now it never ever will.
