Wait til 1st team loses there 5-1 in 2017 .. I will be thee venky free

I'd much rather be in the prem with a proper manager and trusted, organised and responsible "buffer" between some Indian millionaires not actively involved in decision making just signing cheques.

And I'd like to shag Jennifer Aniston whilst not listening to Barry Manilow

To be fair Abbey, if I had the opportunity to bang her it'd be a small price to pay for Manilow to be crooning at the same time.

That scenario will NEVER happen.

They never came in to do that anyway and they are only doing it now because they have to as is their legal responsibility as owners.

I agree that it's unlikely but I'd take it every day over others wish to go back to Chorleys level and start all over again, with no history, no stadium, no facilities and no hope.

Have Portsmouth lost everything? They might well be a shell of their former selves but at least the parasites and asset-strippers have been cleaned out and they can begin the long road to recovery.

I'd take league 2, fan owned, same facilities and history.

I think the point is it doesn't have to be one extreme or the other. Maybe we will find some middle ground that suits everybody, with or without Venkys.

Bradford are another one who've come through a difficult time. Although not an established Prem club they had similar serious mismanagement issues after their brief flirt with the big time. Fact is plenty big established clubs manage to come through it. The strangle hold this lot have on us will see us down there anyway eventually. Just look what's happened since they pitched up and indeed what is still happening. Another slight downscale this season is a trend that looks set to continue.

They've stacked a few assets in the playing side and it looks like they'll be cashed in bit by bit to keep us ticking over rather than a fire sale. Failing a miracle what happens in a few years time when the assets are cashed and the player conveyor belt hasn't churned up a Phil Jones ? If Venkys slowly cash in the assets to run the club, take us down then bail with us still owing tens of millions we are totally screwed then. That might see us follow the Lutons etc.

Of course not, but this myth that Blackburn Rovers FC will cease to exist without Venky's needs to be dispelled. How many clubs of Rovers' size have gone bust? Rangers completely imploded but were reborn with their history and stadium intact.

As tomphil rightly pointed out, the way this club has been run for the past five years, we're ineluctably heading in that direction, anyway.

Do I want to go to that level, well obviously not, but at what point under Venkys will the decline of our club stop?

At least Chorley have Matty Jansen and Flitty around, and appear to be on an upward curve.

Flitcroft resigned last week.

Another 4-0 win today, lesser opposition but you can only beat who you play

Devarn Green scored 2 again from outside the box, sounds like he's come back in form

Is this the wonder kid faster than Walcott? Theo only scored once and that was inside the box. The grass is Greener on this side.

I think the test be beat Walcott on was proven to be of no use

According to Jim Wilkz on Twitter we lost 5-1 at Flyde tonight, Forrester with our goal

Just got back.

Horrendous defending is endemic at the club.

Fairly even first half, Forrester looked decent. Totally outplayed after the break, second to every ball.
