New building? They should just use regular office space instead of feeling like they're above the rest of us.

You know there would be a big new building built for the job, so it should look good as well as function properly. Look at the Scottish Parliament, as I am sure an existing building could have been renovated for smaller costs. A move outside London would need to be on a building like The People's Palace in Romania in terms of scale for those who make these decisions.

I can see the pleasure and value in the 'eff it, let's put it in the warehouse in St. Helens', and I have a streak that would laugh and be happy. I also have a part of me that would want the building to be a bit more than some nondescript, out of town shopping centre kind of place. Imagine the national pride in 'the mother of all Parliaments' being in something you expect to see photocopier salesmen in Bracknell to drive to. Just don't send it to Brum. No-one will be able to get there during office hours the traffic is so bad.

I have to say moving parliament and ministries out of London looks like extremely good sense to me.

London is in a full blown crisis at the moment. Too few houses, too many people, cost of living way too high for those not on £50k+. Drastic times call for drastic measures. Moving parliament to Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds would be transformational for London and the region it relocates to.

I think they should spend the money and refurbish the palace of Westminster, it's a thousand years old and is part of our history. We can afford it, even Blackburn can afford to fill the town centre with twisted scrap metal masquerading as art.

I am surprised the Remainers have not suggested rotating it around the Scottish, Welsh and NI Parliaments

US led coalition airstrikes may have killed a number of anti-ISIS Sunni Tribal Fighters; and get this, these fighters were celebrating defeating ISIS.

I wish the story weren't true (not proven yet), we'll have to find out more. Really a kick in the teeth to hear about this possible "friendly fire" incident.

That first graphic is misleading. Palestine didn't exist as a country until the British artificially created it after WW1. It was just a region of the Ottoman Empire that was 10% Jewish and 10% Christian. It's got about as much validity as Israel, however much validity you want to say that is.

Having said that I agree, the land allocation after WW2 wasn't fair, the region was 33% Jewish at the time and should have been allocated accordingly, not roughly 50-50 as happened. However the Arab states in the region have never acknowledged Israel should have any land, which is equally wrong. As I say the region hasn't historically belonged to the country of Palestine because the country of Palestine never existed, in fact if you want to go back far enough it belongs to the Kingdom of Israel, who were the first occupiers not to take the region by force.

In any case the subsequent land grabs have been the result of Israel being attacked by its neighbours twice and winning both wars. Again, "to the victor goes the spoils" is a questionable morality but it's also pretty much the basis for the Arab world being Islamic!

In any case it doesn't really affect my original point. Jews are being persecuted across Europe (as even Hamas/Hezbollah's mate Corbyn has finally had to admit) and the religion will be driven out. After all you don't have to attack all the followers of something, just enough that the rest are cowed into silence.

I thought it was pretty much common knowledge that the USA are IS.

This clown thing is beyond pathetic. From the article I read today, most of the incidents reported so far have involved adults in clown masks brandishing fake (or in some cases probably not fake) weapons and targeting kids!! How deranged, weird, perverted and moronic are these people? You tend to forget how many complete freaks there are out there, the police should start tasering them.

It's really sad to think there's people out there, actually spending their own time and money on these costumes. Then spending their free time wandering the streets dressed up like a fool! I can't get my head around it.

What must go through their heads when they get in their car and drive home, "yes what a great night's work that was"??

This is was some people are doing with their lives, as you say it's pathetic. It won't be long before someone bops them on their big red nose.

Some clown got beaten with a baseball bat in the US over the weekend. Can't say I blame the attackers as it's downright scary for many!

Police should arrest all involved for breach of peace, causing undue alarm or distress.

Nigeria's president says his wife belongs in the kitchen. No wonder he's let Boko Haram butcher tens of thousands of Christians and displace millions in the north of the country to establish their dominion, he probably agrees with them!

No, that's not true at all; Boko Haram was running roughshod over the area under the previous President Goodluck Johnathan, the new President, Buhari only came into power about May 2015, something like that. Those girls were kidnapped in the previous administration, etc. Boko Haram is not as powerful as they previously were and you have or had a very corrupt military that wouldn't get things done.

Fair enough, I stand corrected. Good to hear it's finally being sorted out.

It's the same on all those riot videos they never ever show on the leftard fascist mainstream news. All strong looking well fed men of fighting age.

I agree. Any migration news has a picture of some upset children, women or families. Any IS bombing campaign news has a picture of some civilians cowering or staring disconsolately at a bombed house.

Why no pictures of aggressive young men destroying property or attacking lorries or security guards? Why none of IS military bases going up in smoke (sure they can get hold of the odd aerial photo from the military).

You don't even get the latter some of the time, you have to hunt it out on YouTube if you want to know what's actually going on. There's a definite leftist agenda in large sections of the mainstream media. And then you get people saying they're all right wing, baffling.
