Jimmy612 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Donald Trump is clearly a highly unstable individual who is a threat to the civilised world. The only upside to his increasingly unhinged rantings is that he is showing the Republican party to be a pariah group of facist bigots and virtually guarantees that there will be a Democrat president for a third successive term. Politics is a strange business. The Democrats biggest ally is Donald Trump as the Tories biggest ally is Jeremy Corbyn.

Audax Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Whatever, I see a poll came out, Des Moines Register (Iowa, one of the first state races) and Ted Cruz leads at 31%, Trump 21% and so on.

Not defending trump here but it's incredible that any of the Saudi rulers feel they have the right to comment on anything given their serial human rights abuses. That lot are practically war criminals.
roverandout Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Wow, a potential president who tells it like it is, kudos to trump, at least he's showing some balls, not the mamby pamby presidents we have seen in recent years, I wish Cameron had his kind of cahones.

Steve Kean's Hypnotoad Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Massive pat on the back to them and its absolutely criminal the mainstream media didn't cover it. Simply through civic duty the BBC should have rammed it down everyone's throats the way they do feminism etc (and I mean all that in a good way). Stuff like that has more impact than anything Cameron or Corbyn can say in discouraging extremism.

Pedro Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Of course there is, If he had said it though, it would be a different tale. SKH is right about the BBC, why have they not said a word They aren't impartial in the slightest and (in my eyes) are a propaganda tool of our government. What we are shown is selective and very inconsistent. I started to doubt them a number of years ago when I witnessed certain events first hand, yet was being shown and told something littered with untruths. I am highly cynical (at times probably to a fault) now.
yoda Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Could it be their sensibilities are aligned more with sunni rather than shia muslims? Who knows, pretty good at keeping things under wraps are the broken biscuit corporation
Steve Kean's Hypnotoad Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Could it be their sensibilities are aligned more with sunni rather than shia muslims? Dunno about that but it is a slight dampener on the article that I didn't notice at first. As far as I'm aware IS lump Shias with everyone else who isn't hardline Sunni on their list of people to wipe out or forcibly convert, so I suppose its not quite as potent as it would be if it were a Sunni protest.

Landwise, that country I thought is a lot smaller than Algeria, Libya and Egypt. Doesn't sound like totally-sound research is saying it.

Lancashite lolice issued CCTV footage of a young, white male they wish to speak to. Maybe I've been conditioned by the media or recent events but I have to admit the profile of the suspect doesn't match the immediate image I had in my head. I wonder why the terrorism unit aren't involved though white people can be terrorists too!
