I've never met anyone whose tried to put their religion on me personally, I'd love to hear your examples.

I've never once felt like my life is being altered by immigration. Maybe it's a generation thing, no offence intended.

Here you go changing the subject again. I never said anybody had tried to convert me but Blackburn society has been totally changed with mosques and minarets appearing everywhere. Even children's stories have to be changed so as not to offend Muslims. We had no problems with this until Blackburn began to be colonised. I was not prepared to have my town changed to a point when it is beginning to become unrecognisable and have joined the "white flight" out of the town. It should never have been allowed to happen. Immigrants should live by the rules of the society they have joined.

There's a big difference between mixed areas and predominantly Asian areas. Try living in Whalley Range or Audley for a few years, with an unashamedly western lifestyle, and tell me what you think then.

Just for the record my family have lived in Bastwell/Little Harwood for over 60yrs, they still live in the area now, and live an 'unashamedly western lifestyle' as you put it.

Never had a problem.

I have to say this is entirely my experience. Lived in Edinburgh and in London (Kentish Town and Hackney) all with sizable minorities.

Why just to rile you of course

(Joke)

Seriously though, you're right there was no particular reason for me to have said white(other the the guys i saw in the clips where white) i can delete it if it offends you so.

Doesn't offend me .. It will take more than that but imagine if you had put the skanky brown kids

What are you taking about? I was being factual, the person in the clips i saw was posh and white(although admittedly the colour of his skin is irrelevant)

So again where did you get "skanky" from? (I could make an educated guess but i dont want to be accused of 'brfcc word twisting')

Ok so its not universal. I was just making the point that it does happen in response to jbizzle's intimation that immigration doesn't negatively affect anyone's day to day lives.

You've just proved Abbey's point perfectly. The sensitivity and urge to get the R word out is palpable. It's fine to describe skin colour as an adjective as long as the word is white. As soon as its anything other, or even hinted at. people get all defensive. 'Posh and white' is one way to try to create a class difference. Abby has done exactly the same as you by using two opposite words and it's all "what d'ya mean by that, eh?".

Honestly TJ, you could have an argument in an empty room.

I don't see how building their own places of worship is not living "by rules of the society"? I can accept places close if they aren't used, pubs, churches etc. Rather than prattle on about it why not give some examples? What children's story or nursery rhymes have been changed to appease Muslims, and why would anyone in the comfort of their own home change things for those living near by?

I dont see why Blackburn should qbe a town for a specific race either. Who do you mean, "we never had a problem before".. The white people? Or first generation Pakistani, Indian, carribean etc who'd lived in the U.K. for generations? Brought here for work, not here to colonise... The irony you'd choose that word.

You can go on about me being argumentative, but that's not the case I just don't agree with such views. Never have, never will. I don't agree with anyone who thinks they have a god given right to the soil they are born on, equally I'd never agree with anyone who said I couldn't work where I want in the world, if I could find better conditions.

As SKH pointed out, there is obviously some stuff that goes on that I don't see, but by in large I couldn't accept that people have had "customs thrust onto them" or their lives completely changed.

Finally - I don't care if you don't believe me or not, what I put on this website is what I think - not deliberately argumentative. Every post you quote and say such is ignoring content at the sake of arguing with me personally. Please avoid!

Quite obvious TJ wasn't out for an argument here, at least initially.

Let's all drop it if we can, a racism / reverse racism debate isn't always healthy and won't be long before we get the usual 'P*ki is just the same as Brit' debate.

Bored with this now. You know perfectly what my point is about minarets all over town offending me and yes I mean the white indigenous people who are being driven out. Ba ba rainbow sheep etc.

Not going to argue with you any more as you change the point every time. If you are prepared to allow your town to be changed by foreigners then you live with it. I am not. I'll bet you don't live in a Muslim area.

Last word on subject. You just argue because you like arguing and will say anything to contradict. Goodbye.

Who on earth sings baa baa rainbow sheep??

I looked it up and found a bbc story from 2006 saying a couple of nurseries in Oxfordshire started doing it. But that is about it. Not exactly taken the country by storm has it.

And what has it to do with Muslims and the 'islamification' of Britain? The overly PC nonsense comes from leafy middle class guilt, not any racial or religious group.

First they came for the nursery rhyme characters, and I did not speak out....

By the way, misguided nursery teachers are not the only ones adapting children's stories... the NRA are at it too. I know which one I find scarier.

You're offended by buildings? Are you saying that things shouldn't change because you want it the way you like it?

I'm afraid your inability to debate what I'm actually saying, and the need to make comments on "how I like arguing" etc is making this just as pointless as you say.

There is no specific reason for my replies to you bar the FACT that I disagree with most of what you say on this subject, your content. It isn't specific to you, it's specific to your content.

If you think I'm a WUM, do me a favour and put me in ignore. Instead, why not just reply to content? You obviously don't read my posts, I've explained I've lived in bburn and accrington, I went to a mixed comp and I currently teach at one. Repeating myself again, why is it MY town? Why does being born here give me a God given right to how it should look?

The real criticism at the fall of northern towns should be pointed towards the capital. Not immigration IMO.

Never once in my life have I had to alter my lifestyle to suit immigrants. In fact, it's the opposite, my life has probably been improved by those moving here. Food, music and culture.

Good to see your footy contributions .

And that contributes how?
