Haha, sorry I was giving you credit for use of the word 'bullstein' over the other more common word containing 'bull'!

I think I am off to the EU topic with a liberal dose of it after jezz's speach yesterday !

Czech Republic will now be using "Czechia" in English. This isn't new as Slovakia (Slovak Republic) and Russia (Russian Federation) do so and of course there's no reason not to recognise it. Not sure if there's other countries too but Myanmar is still officially regarded as Burma in the UK. Obviously ISIS are not recognised formally and they claim to be a caliphate anyway.

Seem to recall Turkey fans complained at Sunderland a few years back about the English version being named after a bird. Not making that up!

Calling the Czech Republic "Czechia" is pretty much the same as calling the French Republic "France"

How could you outright refuse to answer questions that may help you find your daughter? Especially when she then confirmed she understood she could be compromising the investigation?

It's a middle-class Shannon Matthews case imo. Only something much worse happened to this poor girl, while the parents get sympathy because of 'respectable' professions.

its a weird case alight, from a logical point of view all the signs seem to point at the parents, but then on the over hand if they genuinely are innocent it would be truly awful for them having people think they did it, but either way its one that really should have been put aside by the police a long long time ago unless some genuine new hard evidence turns up

edit. ive just start looking at the list of those question, question 7 really is a shocker i never knew that she'd done that! That said its a daily mail article and it gives no real context to how these questions where asked

I've always thought they did it or at least covered up an accident, to build a life on the back of it at the expense of others is sickening to me and the truth will likely never come out.

It's beyond disgraceful, its extremely alarming. An anti-Semite IS sympathiser (regardless of how she tries to back-peddle) is elected head of the NUS. Yet another milestone in the rise of left-wing extremism in this country.

She is an absolute wrong'un this one! Not sure about your last sentence like, but this woman is a disgrace.

Yeah, that's the trouble with this democracy lark. People have a habit of electing representatives who's views you don't share. Happens to me all the time. Maybe they should appoint a new electorate.
