I think the BBCs political stance is increasingly right-wing, Dimbleby particularly. Andrew Neill being the best of a poor bunch at present.

The BBC right-wing??? That's incredible. You only have to look at every picture they ever show in articles relating to Iraq, Syria and the migration problem (insistently labelled "the refugee crisis" by the BBC until it became statistically embarassing for them to continue to do so). Its always crying children, huddled families or civilians staring disconsolately at their bombed homes. Never hordes of angry, violent young men rioting, pulling down fences, attacking local security, or military aerial photos of IS training camps going up in smoke.

The BBC has a left-wing agenda that's threatened its claimed impartiality for a good while now. The fact that you think its right-wing just displays how universally far left the other media sources you choose to read must be.

So hundreds of thousands of [people are displaced because of civil war in the one of the biggest humanitarian crises in history and the BBC are supposed to illustrate it with pictures of angry young men pulling down fences. The idiocy of the right wing knows no bounds.

The BBC has been right wing for years. Its political correspondents come from right wing backgrounds and its news aganda each day is taken from the Daily Mail. And now in addition to the ever-present Murdoch, it's got the anti-BBC Whittingdale on its back - probably the most provocative appointment Cameron made in his govt.

London result not yet in but signs points to a Labour victory for Sadiq Khan. Cameron's attack on Labour over anti-semitism has backfired spectacularly.

Mind you don't fall off the edge of the planet matey. It's the same BBC that doctored film footage of the striking miners so it appeared they were attacking the police when in actuality the police had attacked the miners first.

How many people in this association Abbey?

Don't know but it's too many. I see the Muslim guy comes from Blackburn. Seems to be becoming a Muslim stronghold in the UK.

Might seem hard but it's really not our problem unless we make it our problem. Angry young men is what I see mainly when I see pictures of refugees. I'm sure there are some women and children amongst them but they don't appear to be strongly in evidence. We cannot be responsible for all the lame dogs of the world.

Not sure what bizarre saying is supposed to mean but if you're implying I'm out of touch, its absolutely comical that you then responded to my point about the BBC's current bias with something that happened 30 years ago. Mind you don't fall off the edge of the century.

Labour came third in Scotland, their worst result since 1910!

But didn't do anywhere near as bad as many predicted.

The London mayor looks like being labour, this after the Tories ran a campaign on racism and tried to deflect with the antisemitism stuff, fluffed your lines Mr Crosby.

In Scotland, they did every bit as bad as everyone predicted!

Tories climbing down over the ridiculous compulsory school academy scheme.

How many times have they backtracked? Due to stupid proposals and splits in the party, they're inept.

Only fracking, the '7 day NHS' and cuts to welfare to go.

Battle bus expenses are going to see a few heads role also.

Ex Sunderland player Cabral cleared of rape.

It's a disgrace that this scum bag can accuse a man of that and drag his name through the mud yet she can't be named for legal reasons.

2 days before the trial started she was videod in bed with 2 Newcastle players as well.

Corbyn trying to put a positive spin on last night is almost laughable. Labour were bummed in Scotland and have gone backwards under their leader. Desperate stuff when you lose seats, but not as many as you expected, so err, that's a positive - right ?!!

Keep up the good work Jezza (for as long as you can)

Yes right-wing. Clear example today, as soon as the election is closed, they were running with the Tory general election overspending on the 5pm radio2 news, saying its come to light several police forces are investigating- a story that has been out there for a couple of weeks.

The last weeks news bulletins have been about anti-semitism in the Labour Party, but not the anti-Muslim Tory campaign for London mayor.

The University of Manchester published a paper today, picking major holes in the evidence supporting the weekend death rate in the NHS, guess we'll see the BBC running that story hard with that if its left wing bias?

Sadiq Khan has stuffed Zac Goldsmith in the London mayor elections by some 400,000 votes.

Goldsmiths campaign was an absolute disgrace, based on racial slurs and lies, I bet even Zac himself is embarrassed, most of the Tory party are.

Cameron took this battle to the dispatch box and was smacked right in the gob by the voters, this is a massive gain for Labour especially with the party in such disarray.

A sign of things to come?

Wasn't a fan of the Goldsmith selection in the first place to be honest but whoever was going to be the candidate was going to find it tough after Labour's performance in London at the GE. Labour got crushed last year nationally but in London they did very well and if you look at the London polling today it's pretty much the same story as last year.

Nothing to suggest that Labour have turned the corner or are a credible threat in 2020 if you are to go off these elections. They have increased their vote share in a lot of safe areas but that's not how you win, you need to be increasing votes in marginal areas. The Scottish collapse is huge because if it's replicated at a GE then Labour would need a massive swing to them across England just to become the largest party and then they would have to rely on the SNP to govern. Middle class voters across England voted in their droves for the Conservatives because of the SNP threat and likely would do so again in similar circumstances.

When they been screwed by the Tories a bit longer they'll start to think again. Let's see what state the Tories are in after The EU vote.

Fair comment, unless Labour can turn Scotland 100% around then they are never going to win more seats than the Tories. Corbyn isnt the guy to do that, also looks like Andy Burnham is going to go for Mayor of Manchester so he is losing his better people.

Labour get stuffed in the polls but GAV and Jim take solace in a Labour London Mayor. Well jolly D. Now that Scotland has gone SNP we will fortunately never in my lifetime have a Labour Government.

Sadiq Khan has won the biggest personal mandate in the history of British politics, just goes to show that not all voters fall for Tory spin, racial slurs and lies.

Labour has a long way to go Al, they're starting from the bottom, but the London mayor is a big win for the party, despite Goldsmith, Cameron and Crosbys despicable tactics.

I said that about the Tories in 1997 Al. One thing I've learnt in my life - " Nothing Is Forever ".

If you're pushing up the daisies in 2 years Al (which I hope you're not of course) that's Labour back in government at the next election. A pleasant thought.

Politics changes quickly and nothing lasts forever - even the hated Tories have come back from the dead in Scotland. The SNP has probably hit a peak and it may well be all downhill from here.
