In Manc land this morning, cyclists :angry2:

They should be made to have a licence (and insurance) then they can get endorsed, some completely ignore the highway code.

As a driver, that applies to far more drivers I've come across than cyclists...

Maybe so but they should still be accountable for their actions i,e. ignoring traffic lights and causing havoc at junctions,

If you are on the road obey the highway code or get booked, simples

Absolutely agree there.

On that note, the Highway Code states that a cyclist must be treated as a car or van would be treated. Ie: overtake by getting over into the other lane.

The number of people who insist cyclists get over to the left (even when hazardous to both parties) is far more than it should be. Such is the cyclist's awareness of the road around him, I reckon the majority are actually much better drivers.

Used to feel really sorry for cyclists getting bullied by drivers until I encountered loads in London running red lights and bullying pedestrians. That made me realise there's idiots in both forms of transport.

However on the whole I do think drivers are more often at fault. The modern fast paced lifestyle and increasingly clogged up roads don't tend to encourage patience and care around cyclists.

so are you going to contribute or just be a steve kean about everything. reading your comment it would appear you condone cyclists wearing black ,having no lights and not being on the cycle lane provided. ...speaks volumes.

How dare you sir
how very very dare you

Abbey/TJ- can we draw a line under this please, I've hidden a load of those posts. There is no point to any of these arguments and they're irritating to read.

TJ you are getting boring (as I'd hidden the post after this). There might not have been anything vastly wrong but its just petty point scoring which no one else wants to read.

TJ, I can play, hide your boring posts all day.

I'm "abusing the system" even though K-Hod has already hidden LOADS of your posts and asked you to stop it. And yet you carry on and get all pissy at me.

That's the point though, they are riders not drivers, drivers have to pass a test, riders just get out there.

Your the only one being rude here, in and abbey with m and abbey its usually just banter, but you are bordering on being offensive, it is funny how you only choosevto be a mod when it suits you, just leave it to khod, mellision and tom m.

Its easy for you to claim innocense after you've removed the posts that your refering to faster than i type them, your blatantly yrolling me now and, rying to provokw me into sauing something that you can ban me for.

As ove said 3times now, ita funny taht you only choose to play mod when it suits you, leave it to khod, tom m and mike and stop task ng advante; f the system.

All i initially as d was why where, he posts removed, i thougjt there might gave been somethingore offensive posted that i didnt see, iv no real problem that khod chose yo remove the posts,i was just st curious ad to whethet there wasore to it.

Know doubt you'll be silly now and delete this post also.

Mainly one aimed at blokes this, people who are just generally disgusting.

Was at the gym the other day and this guy in the shower cubicle next to me, in the space of 5 minutes, burped about 3 times, farted, blew his nose (I assume football player style) 4-5 times, cleared his throat about 15 times and made probably about 5 other noises that I couldn't attribute to anything.

Apart from being utterly repulsive (feel sorry for his Mrs!), its the usual drill of some people who just don't give a damn about anyone else. Unless he's one of those who thinks its a sign of masculinity to make as many bodily noises as possible and that everyone else would be impressed.
