Another example of people pretending to be a millionaire, showing off in a car they can never afford going wrong because they're driving like bell-ends. What is wrong with some people? Showing off is both embarrassing and cringeworthy, especially when it's not your property!! Thankfully nobody was hurt on this occasion.

Showing off is both embarrassing and cringeworthy, especially when it's not your property!! Thankfully nobody was hurt on this occasion. You'll always have show-offs, take one look at what half the people out there put on Facebook. If people want to rent supercars fair play to them, if you're a petrol head I bet its great fun. Where I object is when the person then speeds, lets his mates drive it, and you have people without insurance, without a licence and underage having a go. But then that's not exactly a problem restricted to supercars around here, as anyone who actually does get insurance and has to pay inflated prices can tell you. GAV mentioned people are just out for themselves these days in relation to the Tories gaining ground on anything whenever they start mentioning people's pockets. Well stories like this are the reason why. We will cover the cost of this incident as always, our insurance premiums will indirectly pay for the car/house/cost to the insurance company to investigate it. Our taxes will pay for the hefty cost of the criminal investigation and prosecution. And our NI payments will pay for the hospital treatment of the driver/passengers. No wonder people are getting weary of voluntarily being charitable when they have so much charity forceably taken from them by an increasing number of people in this country with absolutely no respect for its laws.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 9, 2016 Author Moderation Lead Posted May 9, 2016 James Corden- can't stand that guy. In Gavin and Stacey I managed to cope with him, but all the hype of the car pool karaoke and that crap looks like my idea of hell. Being stuck in the car, singing with him!? No thanks!

Totally with you there, completely up himself which is quite an achievement given he verges on being physically repugnant. His behaviour in the awards show spat with Patrick Stewart was extremely disrespectful and overly aggressive too, showed him up to be a right a-hole.

I agree also, I don't get that karaoke thing at all, same goes for that lip sync battle too.
Biddy Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Totally with you there, completely up himself which is quite an achievement given he verges on being physically repugnant. His behaviour in the awards show spat with Patrick Stewart was extremely disrespectful and overly aggressive too, showed him up to be a right a-hole.I've never really rated Corden as a "comedian", he simply isn't funny (unless it's scripted for him). I do however quite enjoy the car pool karaoke's as it is a good way to show the stars out of the norm and he gets some good questions in. With regards to the Patrick Stewart incident however, I had not heard about that so I've just read a mirror article which does indeed paint Corden in a bad light. I have since watched the clip on youtube and all I can think of is what an utter prick Patrick Stewart was. Corden did a gushing intro for Patrick who then just decided to rip him to @#/? with the worst form of body shaming to boot. I actually thought James handled himself quite well given the situation. Indeed the person winning the award at the time praised his belly and shot down Patrick as well. I love Patrick and especially his Star Trek tenure but that puts him down in my estimation. I believe he has since said he was sorry and was quite drunk and infact they have both seem to have made up in a sketch for GOSH

From what I did see though I thought Corden was trying to physically intimidate him, standing about half a foot from him the first time and slapping him on the back each time he said something. Guess I just generally believe in the respect your elders attitude, whilst Stewart was in the wrong, Corden could have responded with being such a prat. Anyway yeah that aside, my general opinion is not funny, extremely arrogant and compensates for a lack of talent by "being a lad" and shouting a lot.
oldjamfan1 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Corden and Ricky Gervais both get right on my t1ts. I've worked in offices and played football with funnier blokes than the pair of them,.
arbitro Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Corden and Ricky Gervais both get right on my t1ts. I've worked in offices and played football with funnier blokes than the pair of them,. And coincidentally both have a really irritating false laugh. I actually remember a few of your teammates being comedians too Andy. 😁
Backroom Mike E Posted May 10, 2016 Backroom Posted May 10, 2016 I agree also, I don't get that karaoke thing at all, same goes for that lip sync battle too. Must admit I enjoyed the very first song on the very first LSB (The Rock doing 'Shake it off' by Taylor Swift), but after that it's all the same.
Baz Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Dont like Corden, but the carpool karaoke bits are ok tbh, sometimes it's nice to hear the true voices of singers. Humour wise he is miles behind Jimmy Fallon, who is a league apart from anyone else broadcasting at the moment.
Husky Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 I know I'm mostly out of the country, but apart from Patrick Stewart, should I be grateful that I've never even heard of any of those other people? Is The Inbetweeners still on? I liked that

ultrablue Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Can't beat Stephen Colbert - incredible comic timing
Steve Kean's Hypnotoad Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Always found Russel Brand very funny and intelligent, seems a genuinely nice bloke too.
Al Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Always found Russel Brand very funny and intelligent, seems a genuinely nice bloke too. Wouldn't do for everybody to like the same. If he was performing in my garden I would draw the curtains. Complete prat. Cant stand Gervais or Cordon either.

Cant stand Gervais or Cordon either. Haha yep the beauty of opinions. I thought the Office was hilarious but think Gervais has struggled ever since. I think he's got it in him to be funny but seems to have made a string of lame choices. His Extras character was pretty boring and since then all he's been doing is insulting and hamming up his fake laugh at his mate Karl Pilkington.
Amo Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Those painfully unfunny Youtube ads that pop up with some annoying Youtube 'celeb' that I'd rather pour battery acid in my eyes than subject myself to.
ABBEY Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 the tory NHS !!! 3 weeks when in agony to have your bloody ears syringed...its a bit of water in your ear not brain surgery ...PATHETIC
Gav Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I've just had the misfortune of walking up a hill near where we live to be faced at seemingly every step by packets of dog sh1t on the path, in the bushes, everywhere Imagine walking from The Sunnyhurst pub to the top of Darwen tower, that was about the distance, similar demographic in terms of housing, counted 18 bags of discarded dog sh1t without even trying, its an absolute disgrace. Until people learn to look after the animals waste, I'd ban all dogs other than working dogs, disgusting.
T J Hooker Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Why was you counting bags of dog waste(and why was you walking in the bushes for that matter) heheI could go out and head of walking a similar distance in any direction and find twice as much litter, rubbish and food waste not including dog waste thrown all over the floor and grass verges, dogs arent the issue, dirty, scruffy humans are. you are half right though, not disposing of bagged poops properly is wrong, may as well just not bag it and leave it for nature to take care of if you're not going to bin the bags.
