To be fair, I think it's wrong to take offence on the other person's part before it's actually happened.

it genuinely wasn't even anything offensive,

but forget it,

i'm going to watch pusher2&3, the boxsets been sat next to my tv for i year and now is the time!

That is the power surge moving from Brussels to the UK causing that :)

Problem is TJ- those jokes went, because the person aimed at would have been offended, then it kicks off. So I remove the problem at the source.

Controversial idea that...

What about those people that 'go up' at the end of their sentences as though they're asking a question? :glare:

Australian Question Intonation. Should be a criminal offence!

Postmen (and others) who don't push things right through letterboxes. Gets right on my paps.

Thats started to happen a lot more lately with me, i'm really not a fan of the lazy arse royal mail workers in blackburn, twice in the past week i've had to go and collect small packages from the depot because it was "to big for letterbox" only to get to the depot to find the package was tiny and would have easily fit through the letterbox but they clearly never even attempted to deliver it really, complain to them and they just shrug their shoulders. They may have to work awkward hours, but they're reasonably paid considering its unskilled work, yet they make out that they're so hard done by, boohoo them.

Also menu, catalogue and so-called charity bags being shoved through the door( and also because i have a beware of dogs sign on front gate asian junk mail deliverers just throw stuff over the into the garden)

The roadworks on Dunkenhalgh Way between Accy and Clayton seem to be taking an age to complete and I can't really see any progress. Apparently, the road is going to be entirely closed for a few weeks between 7pm and the morning soon. I'm no expert in civil engineering, but they've been trying to fix the roads for a few months already, it seems to be taking forever!

Should have been finished last week (24 weeks from mid-Jan was on the signs) and they've been working Sundays! That's LCC for you.

Should have been finished last week and they've been working Sundays to try and catch up!

I've been doing the unthinkable and going along Whalley Road (traffic is usually gridlocked there in a morning), but I've been early enough to miss the rush thankfully so far.

what about the road from winfields to the m65? How many times has that been closed overnight. Get caught out coming back from the theatre, cricket matches, visiting family and on so many other occasions. And don't get me started on the m60 from the m62 to simister island.

I think it's closed at the moment between 10pm and 6am, or at least it was recently. (That's about 1 mile from where I live).

Dirty thieving gypsy b@strdss. Behind Aldi again on Ewood, and the Aldi driver has to take everything through the front door as he can't get around the back. Police are powerless.

The last time they left it cost £2,000 to clean up the mess, the shops had to foot the bill.

Someone accused me of being a racist once for hating pikeys, how thick can you get ?

Nah, you're right. They pitched up outside my folks' gaff for a weekend and left an almighty mess last year and the council had to pay about the same to clean it up. Shameless pricks.

Just am aside, gypsies and pickys are two differnt groups arent they?

I think gypsies are the more traditional travellers that play by the rules a bit better, picky though are just ruff scruffy arsed mongrels i think.

Think you're being a bit picky there TJ.
