I have wondered a time or two whether these things with Rudy and Rhodes aren't already almost done deals and all the messing about and blame shifting is just to prime the fans for their exit. Making it look like they are trying to hold on to them to save a bit of face. Seems weird they are bickering over a million or two, Boro have supposedly offered 9 mill up front plus add ons up to 14mill. Why don't they say ten mill upfront and get some good assurances for adds to be paid quickly or just tell them to knob off he's not for sale. Remember Jack slapping a 20 mill all at once tag on Shearer when Utd came sniffing. Something like that would end it.

Fair enough comment and its not to everyones taste but helps deal with a situation on my part anyway.

Gallows humour is fine with me but feel sometimes that the comments about Bowyer's motives cross a line. Of course he is not born n bred rovers like us fans and in some ways he benefits from working in a nuthouse but ultimately he seems a serious, professional person that puts his heart into the job. Professionally i think he could quit and get a job somewhete else quite easily but this is more than "just a job".

None of this ignores that venkys have made a series of horrendous decisions but i think they have stumbled upon the person they thought baldy was...

I think I am just going to hibernate for this season, wake up next summer in league 1.
