When did I mention the Championship?

Guess I went ahead and assumed you'd be sensible enough to be discussing his worth in relation to us. Especially being a Rovers fan and all. And what with you talking about how dispensable he is to us. And talking about him leaving. Guess that all just seemed to make sense...more fool me.

Rumours of Rhodes handing in a transfer request...

I hope they're true. If we're going to lose him, he can at least forfeit his loyalty bonus. Such a ridiculous thing to begin with, as players just do everything short of officially handing in their requests most of the time.

The chief issue with me is not that JR appears to be leaving as he nearly left last season, that's just football. the issue is that now we have our hands tied in replacing him.

Step forward our wonderful owners, they didn't know we could get relegated from the Premiership, so they had no chance on FFP.

Brown will be our main striker for the Wolves game, the word TOIL springs to mind.

Someone please tell me how good he looked away at Sheffield Weds Please!

What's Luca Toni up to nowadays getting on a bit might come for 600k a year, not a proper Rovers transfer window without mentioning him,

Maybe Brown up top next to Delfoneso/Fode Koita or Marshall in behind will be a decent setup in the circumstances?

If Brown never scores in his career, but puts two on a plate a game (like sheff weds away) for others- he won't be so bad!

Putting 2 on a plate means someone has to score them, that's the problem.

Brown is paid to score goals.

If you don't score goals you don't win games, if you don't win games to get relegated.

So fingers crossed your suggestion of Delfonso/Fode works jbizzle.

Can the boro spy from oneboro please step forward? :-) someone is sending info on there from here. Even Mercer's post regarding Rhodes update, they have also cottened on to the fact that Nathan delef is Rhodes replacement

Have a look at the poll, the number saying sell seems to be increasing for some reason? Wonder why.

Is there anyone available in the league on a free who has a decent goalscoring record (1 goal in three games or better)? Or one surplus to requirements we can get on loan from a prem club?

Doesn't really matter what kind of player they are. Just someone who knows how to bloody score goals. We can work around them.

If we go into the season with Brown, Delfaneuso and Koita we are dicing with death. No amounts of Sam Gallaghers etc are going to replace goal scoring experience.

I wonder if Gary Hooper is or will be available on loan? Norwich are after a new striker or 2.

He is not with us so I can't really say much about him....mmm then he says the Blackburn management should let him go?!

He would be fuming if a fellow manager said that about his star player...straight from the Mourinho handbook.

I wish our manager was clever enough to try and manipulate situations to our advantage. I have no problem with his comments.

I quite liked Karanka until these comments:

http://m.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/13500932.Karanka__Blackburn_cannot_keep_unhappy_Rhodes/

What business is it of his? Are Boro the new Big Club?

Karanka said “For me, it is important that Jordan said what he did (on Friday). If I was the Blackburn manager, or the people at the club, I would not like to have a player who is not happy in my team.''

and then said “I don’t know what is going to happen though, so let’s see. At the moment, Jordan is not with us so I can’t really say anything about him.

What a tool.

Karanka:- “For me, it is important that Jordan said what he did (on Friday). If I was the Blackburn manager, or the people at the club, I would not like to have a player who is not happy in my team"

Rhodes comments to the press, Karanka comments on Rhodes' comments, pressure builds on Rovers to sell.

A very carefully orchestrated move by Karanka/Boro and Rhodes.

Conclusion: Rhodes is a complete and utter Karanka.

you must be a boro fan then
