But...but...but... I thought we blame Hanley? Please could you clarify?

Don't worry there will be plenty of blame to go round

For some reason, it seems like Bowyer only arrived right on HT. He appeared for the first time just before the whistle went and shook hands with Flitcroft then too. Not sure what he'd been doing before that

maybe Bowyer has talks with a potential signings or have to hold talks with the owners over Gestede or Rhodes leaving us.

Back to the game, Guthrie and Tomlinson on for the second half. coming on for O'Sullivan and Lowe

Firstly it nice to see MCMC again when at the Brig game.

Rovers lost 1-2. Brett Ormorod scored their first and Jordan Preston pulled one back for us after about 65 mins.

Brig bossed the game and we were outmuscled and closed down far to quickly for my liking. We struggled to put 3 passes together although we had chances to score as did Brig.

I must say the quality of the playing surface was a credit to Brig; it was better than I have seen at Rovers for a couple of years, even at the start of a season.

Mans on fire...

To be fair he finished last season well - hopefully he can take this into the season, Last season he had a disappointing start to the season - with all the upheaval we really need him at his best right from the off.

Was Bowyer at the match ? It was reported he turned up at Bury late.

No Bowyer heard I was going and changed his mind :-))

Truthfully, no he wasn't.

Proven goal scorer. Wouldn't want over £10k a week. May be able to get him on a free. Probably currently playing at equivalent of French third division level.

Problem solved.

Apparently he was in a meeting with Rhodes and others?
