davulsukur Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Allardyce needed that win tonight, next run of 8 games could see them pick up 0 points at all. That's some run of games they've got. Be a tough ask but they need to be winning some of those. Allardyce is going to have to pull something out of the bag.
Backroom DE. Posted November 24, 2015 Author Backroom Posted November 24, 2015 They could beat Stoke and Watford at home. If there's one thing Allardyce has always been good at it's making the home ground a fortress. Would be surprised if they got much out of any of the other six fixtures though.
Lambsy40 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Sam will be desperate to get to January to bring in a target man though.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Sam will be desperate to get to January to bring in a target man though. We don't have worry., we haven't got one. Unless he fancies Brown.

Norbert Rassragr Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Jack Grealish is a pillock. He seems like another wannabe who is weeing his career up the wall. And he's massively overrated.
donnermeat Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Only a few players can get away with wearing their socks like that, Grealish isn't one of them. So that alone puts him in pillock territory. The hair just tops it off.

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I like the back to front baseball cap look. It tells me the wearer is a complete moron with out me having to go to the trouble of finding out the hard way.
donnermeat Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 He looks like he should have one of those sweaty teenager 'taches, when they are trying to grow their bum fluff out. Fooling nobody them lads.
BlueMonday Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Grealish dropped indefinitely according to SSN. Get on the phone Lambo!

Get on the phone Lambo! http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12040/10079193/jack-grealish-receives-offer-of-help-from-paul-merson- you know it's bad when Merson's offering you some help!
Gav Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Jose after Kalinic? I wonder if it's the same reporter that said he was after King Rat? Or did that drunk just make it up himself...
JHRover Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12040/10079193/jack-grealish-receives-offer-of-help-from-paul-merson- you know it's bad when Merson's offering you some help! He's also been offering Van Gaal advice today on how to manage. I'm sure Van Gaal will be really worried about criticism from Paul Merson. Van Gaal's managed successfully across Europe for 20 years whilst Merson failed at Walsall and spends his time talking rubbish on Sky Sports.
Backroom Mike E Posted November 26, 2015 Backroom Posted November 26, 2015 Chelsea are tracking Niko Kalinic...
Amo Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 No doubt Smallardyce will be all over the press claiming he discovered him.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Chelsea are tracking Niko Kalinic... I always liked him. He came to Rovers at the wrong time.
Backroom Mike E Posted November 26, 2015 Backroom Posted November 26, 2015 I always liked him. He came to Rovers at the wrong time. Agreed tbh. No-one had a hope under Kean and he never suited the ball at his head under Sam.
Blue Cabbage Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Always had a soft spot for Niko, thought he was an all round pretty decent footballer, hit woodwork 328 times and had the unenviable task of being the spearhead of a Big Sam team. Totally unsuited at the time but has been firing them for Fiorentina this season and will no doubt have benefited from more games under his belt, would love to see him back in England
Amo Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I remember him being slaughtered on MOTD for the numerous chances that he missed...against Sunderland, I think? Nevermind that he was getting himself into goalscoring positions in the first place, Lineker & co had a right old laugh at his expense. Can't help but think they were still bitter about Croatia dumping us out of the Euro qualifiers.
47er Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Kalinic was the "Nearly Man" for us. Nearly got on the end of a cross, header missed by a whisker, great chance but hit the post etc. Put loads of energy into it but with no real outcome. He did run into a bit of scoring form at one point but immediately got himself red-carded and that was that. Still, we got our money back!
Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 His best game that I recall was K**n's first win, away at West Brom 3-1. Pretty sure he scored twice and then got sent off. Don't think he played again? He played up front with Mame Diouf I think in that game, he seemed much better to me with a strike partner. I remember how terrible he looked when he first joined though. I cringed when I saw him walk up to take a penalty against Chelsea in that League Cup quarter final shoot-out. Really tame effort, straight at the keeper. Sometimes you can just tell when a player is going to miss. Remember he scored a cracking goal against Spurs that was disallowed. Took it on the chest on the edge of the area then turned and smashed it in the top corner, shades of Drogba against Liverpool. Good luck to him I say.

Blue Cabbage Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 To be fair them 4 in their pomp would make me look half decent up top and I'm a keeper!!
