Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 15, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted August 15, 2015 Everton 3-0 up at Southamption, 5 minutes to go. Very good away performance from them.

thenodrog Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Very sad to read Mark Hughes reminiscing about his time at Rovers and his plans to emulate that success with Stoke. That Shaquiri's a gud un.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 15, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted August 15, 2015 That Shaquiri's a gud un. Excellent player, I would say I'm surprised he never made it at Bayern, but Ribery and Robben are fairly difficult to displace!
Backroom DE. Posted August 15, 2015 Author Backroom Posted August 15, 2015 Incidentally there is some sort of Fantasy football prog on Sky and I was told in the local last night that Big Sam had put together his all star team and that I'd never guess which BRFC defender was in it. I got it bang on first time with Ryan Nelsen. My mate was well miffed. Think Nelsen was the only Rovers player in his team. Didn't include Nolan either
Backroom DE. Posted August 16, 2015 Author Backroom Posted August 16, 2015 Decent game between Arsenal and Palace. Ref has just totally bottled sending off Coquelin though.
roverandout Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 To be fair I think he would have done the same with mcarthur if he had already been booked, it would have spoiled a good game
Backroom DE. Posted August 16, 2015 Author Backroom Posted August 16, 2015 The ref isn't there to make sure the game is entertaining though, he's there to apply the rules equally. I'm not convinced a Palace player would have had the same leniency.
Backroom DE. Posted August 16, 2015 Author Backroom Posted August 16, 2015 If Arsenal win this one I hope Wenger remembers to thank the ref in his post match interview. Anyhow, bad refereeing aside, Palace's defence is really weak imo. They'll be relying on their attacking players pushing other teams back during the season.
Baz Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Classic big club refereeing, made at least 2 bookable challenges after being booked, then on the third the ref calls the captain over to give Wenger a chance to substitute him.
Backroom DE. Posted August 16, 2015 Author Backroom Posted August 16, 2015 City/Chelsea has been pretty good so far. Chelsea looking lacklustre again, it started getting quite feisty towards the end of that half. Diego Costa is the last person who needs a knock to the head, mind
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 16, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted August 16, 2015 Costa and his churlish appeals for everything, pr1ck. City just gone 2-0 up.
Backroom DE. Posted August 16, 2015 Author Backroom Posted August 16, 2015 1 point out of 6 is a very poor start for Chelsea. Mourinho will be fuming after that.
AllRoverAsia Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Really strong City performance. Fate decreed that Chelsea would get 2 injuries more or less at the same time and not enogh Doctors on the bench and had to borrow one from City to help attend to Costa's cut head. Bad strategy Jose! Edit: Just seen Jose's interview, deluded if he thinks Chelsea were that good in 2nd half. He had a point though about the red cards.
Gav Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 John Terry = what a **** Couldn't have happened to a nicer ****
Coatbridge rover Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 The cheque book 📚 will be out at chelski,Everton will be rubbing there hands,do you think mouriniho fancies jordan
Backroom Tom Posted August 17, 2015 Backroom Posted August 17, 2015 Josh King starts at Anfield Doubt he's regretting leaving just yet, dont expect he'll get much of a sniff tonight though Bournemouth goal disallowed for the sort of thing that happens on every single corner
Backroom Tom Posted August 17, 2015 Backroom Posted August 17, 2015 And now Liverpool score a goal that clearly shouldn't have counted
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Bournemouth have done fairly well. King however has just been strolling about. Not a premier league striker.
Hasta Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Yep. Really bugs me when people say goals like that should stand. If Coutinho isn't offside then the keeper just walks out and catches that on the edge of the 6 yard box no probs.
Dunnfc Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Can't see Bournemouth amassing more than 15 points. Cannon fodder.

Butty Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Can't see Bournemouth amassing more than 15 points. Cannon fodder. Haha really? I thought they started the game really well, definitely think they'll put up a good fight this season.
