Only trouble is the worse things get for the Red Scum, the nearer they probably get to getting someone else decent in to sort them out.

I thought changing managers was a gamble

Seems to be for us doesn't it. Bit different when you can bring in someone of the quality of Mourinho or similar. You'd expect them to get it right sooner rather than later.

If you believe that everything reverts to the mean then after 20 years plus of almost unbroken success then ManU are due to have 20 years in which they win hardly anything at all. Now most Rovers fans would welcome that but the same law would also see us back in the lower leagues for a very long time too.

I've left my glasses in the car, but from what I can gather it seems to be a decent game and it's 2-1 United and 3-3 on aggregate. (Too cold to go and get my bins)....

The all time league table, or mean, shows us as being 12th, so why would we be in the lower leagues for a very long time ?

Everton confirm new major shareholder

Don't really consider Everton the best option at all especially with their desire to replace that dump of a stadium. Not sure they are going to have countless millions thrown at them either (even if there wasn't FUP) it seems more of an "investment." Its a 49.9% shareholding and presumably an equal partnership with Kenwright who remains at the club. Everton fans did accuse him in the past of refusing to sell unless he retained his position so seems like the ideal situation for him. Indeed many now feel that accusation wasn't unwarranted.

It's about that time this season where Arsenal bottle it. Haven't won at Old Trafford since 2006, already 2 down against United's kids. Embarrassing.

Unbelievable Rashford, 4 goals in the week of his debut

Posted

Man Utd two up against Arsenal after 30 minutes Rashford scoring both. Arsenal are just being Arsenal and overpaying everything. So far Walcott, Sanchez and Ozil haven't had a kick.
