Ribble Rover
Bloody hell that finish from King - when did he learn to strike a ball that hard? Just been given a decent run, we got a flavour in the FA Cup last year but GB just played Rhodes instead.

LewisF
I don't go to premiership matches 'these days' as we're not in the prem any more, yet I know what it takes to be a premiership striker nowadays seeing as I watch match of the day In response to armchair fan - no, not in the slightest. I've got a ST as it shows in my profile.
chaddyrovers
Newcastle being linked with David Moyes in today's Telegraph Newcastle were awful yesterday an their defending was shambolic and not working as a team. Clearly not playing for their current manager and his coaching staff
Dean
If Kante doesn't get player of the season it's a travestyNot sure myself. He's been excellent in the second half of the season, but took a while to grow into the team. He wasn't even a starter for the early games. Mahrez has been consistently outstanding since the opening game, producing moments of genius in big games (goal against City, outrageous back heel last week, stunning goal yesterday) . To keep trying the things he does as the expectation has risen takes a pretty special character. I think he's had the best individual season since Ronaldo was playing over here. den
While we're talking about Leicester, " England coach and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville commented on how Vardy's approach influences teammates: "he sets the tempo and the tone for the rest of the team and gives no other player behind him any excuse for not working hard." Tyrone Shoelaces
Trying hard not be a wise guy but the first time I saw the lad play I was really impressed. Having said that I was really impressed the first time I saw Henley play. Mahraez has got that X factor that all the top players have.

Like all top strikers in recent years. Ian Rush at Liverpool, Shearer with us etc. They set the example for the rest of the team. They can turn a poor pass into a good one. Rapid and can finish, that's what's needed these days at premiership level He was rapid when he wasn't injured and his finishing/ end product wasn't all it could have been. Maybe having a decent manager has made a difference.

LewisF
But we aren't in the premiershipfair enough. A player like him would still be a valuable asset to us though, premiership or not
Dean
Cracking player that Vardy, Roy has to start with him. I think Kane is the more complete player so is more likely to get the nod. What a weapon Vardy will be from the bench though.
rigger
fair enough. A player like him would still be a valuable asset to us though, premiership or not but his wages would be such a drain on our finances, that they would negate any value as an asset he would bring.
