VinjayV4 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 He's still Big Sam the relegation teflon man as if they go down it will be all Adam Johnson's fault. With a bit of Eboue mixed in... What a strange season Ranieri perhaps winning a league title (WITH LEICESTER) and teflon man perhaps getting relegated.

sambo Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Now come on nobody deserves to manage Villa. Look at poor Lambert he's even regained his vision since he left! Sacked, mutual consent, resignation, etc no matter what he was a dead man walking. Looking at Villa's new board/advisor appointments it does appear they could be beginning to get a few things right. Of course that won't bring much immediate comfort to their fans given their impending relegation. Rumors of Pearson/Dyche at the moment. LOL at people saying Dyche wouldn't go there. Who in their right mind would turn Aston Villa down in favor of friggin "name marketers dream" Burnley? Even if they switch places Dyche would be nuts not to go there. Unless he's thinks he can do better than Villa and would rather wait. They are being linked to Steve Bruce as well haven't Villa fans suffered enough? Why the obsession with Burnley's name being unmarketable? Doubt Dyche is bothered! If he did move, that would be the last thing he'd think about.
VinjayV4 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Well I would certainly be bothered. Its a toss up between them and Barnsley for most boring name in Football League probably. Wouldn't be able to play, manage or own either of them would be too busy falling asleep. Not saying people should only buy Premier League clubs. Buy a league 2 side perhaps but at least pick one with a decent name! Unmarketable has to be understatement of century. Generally I would never be an advocate of a team changing their name (though Swansea did and perhaps Ipswich should one day for same reason) but those 2 should at least add "clarets" or "tykes" or whatever. I'm sure some of you would suggest something less flattering for one of them. No wonder nobody tried to buy Burnley in the EPL.
BlueMonday Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Still think Leicester will have a wobble, wether the other teams will take advantage is another thing.
wolfie Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 What a cracking game of football that was. I hate to say it but that is some Spurs side Pocchetino has assembled there. The thing I love most about Pochettino and this Spurs team is he's mainly worked with the player that were at the club when he arrived. From todays starting line-up & players were there when he arrived. Lloris Kyle Walker Rose Dier Dembele Eriksen Kane From those 7 he's turned Rose and Walker into cracking full backs. Dier from a centre half into the best holding mid in the prem and took Kane from the youth team... From the other 4 starters, today, that he's brough in; Wimmer - only really playing till Vertonghan is back Alli - Prob an England regular from now on? Son Heung Min Aldewiereld He's done an amazing job at spurs, hope he stays there and finishes what he's starting building. He's giving lots of young English lads a chance and playing great football whilst doing it. If Leicester don't win the title this year I'd love Spurs to do it.
Husky Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Shearer sounds so bitter when the humbugs lose. It's even funnier that Martin Olsson scored the winner.
philipl Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Southampton will be a very stern test for Leicester today. In many ways the Title decider after Spurs dropped two points at Liverpool. Cannot see them letting a seven point lead go. West Ham and Stoke did their European charges big damage yesterday.

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 3, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted April 3, 2016 I've been in Newcastle on a stag do this weekend, watched their game against Norwich and when Norwich kept going back in the lead I thought they'd need to ring the Samaritans en masse. I've never liked them as a club but I must admit I felt bad for them at that point. Must have been the booze....
Amo Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 https://www.facebook.com/topic/Gabriel-Agbonlahor/114415671902172?source=whfrt&position=3&trqid=6269255585721986033 WOW "Wow" as in scandalous? Or "Wow" as in what a fuss about nothing?
BlueMonday Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Someone should investigate what Chris Brown has been smoking then.
Husky Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Surely Leicester will have to score a 2nd goal to win one of these days. They can't keep holding on for these wins. Can they?
Backroom Tom Posted April 3, 2016 Backroom Posted April 3, 2016 Unbelievable stuff They've been ruthlessly consistent and fully deserve it, Ranieri is a genius
Baz Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Bit of luck with the handball in the first half though. Didn't play particularly well, but defended admirably, Simpson missed a sitter too.
chaddyrovers Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Leicester are going to win the PL. Great to see Man Utd honour Sir Bobby Charlton with the naming a stand after him.
Hasta Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 LEICESTER Sunderland (A) West ham (H) Swansea (H) Man Utd (A) Everton (H) Chelsea (A) 3 wins enough ?
wolfie Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 If Spurs win all their games Leicester need 12 points. So yeah, I reckon 9 points should do it
VinjayV4 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 LEICESTER Sunderland (A) West ham (H) Swansea (H) Man Utd (A) Everton (H) Chelsea (A) 3 wins enough ? 1 win is enough for me. Unbelievable stuff They've been ruthlessly consistent and fully deserve it, Ranieri is a genius I guess he was a late developer...
Waggy76 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Someone should investigate what Chris Brown has been smoking then. Doubt it is Lucky Strike !
VinjayV4 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 BREAKING NEWS In an attempt to follow Leicester's blueprint Watford, Swansea, Palace and Norwich are all attempting to hire Hector Cuper for next season. Hey you never know...
Baz Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 LEICESTER Sunderland (A) West ham (H) Swansea (H) Man Utd (A) Everton (H) Chelsea (A) 3 wins enough ? Some tough games there, the only teams with nothing really to play for being Swansea, Everton and Chelsea- but you wouldn't want to go to Chelsea needing anything.
VinjayV4 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Some tough games there, the only teams with nothing really to play for being Swansea, Everton and Chelsea- but you wouldn't want to go to Chelsea needing anything. What interesting betting odds that could be...particularly if it goes to the wire.
